Daniel, Ivy, and everyone else stared at the man in surprise as he claimed to be the son of the king.

"How can this be?" the king asked. "My son is dead and buried. Whoever you are, leave this instant, and don't try to play with our emotions."

"I'll never dream of doing that," he replied. "My name is Joshua, and I couldn't come to see you because I lost my memories. I only learned about my identity recently, as my mom never told me about my roots until recently. I finally regained my memories and remembered that I was kidnapped when I was young."

"Enough, don't say anymore," the king said. "I know what happened. I was there, and my son is dead."
