AYISHA'S POV

"Ayisha! Hurry up! We'll be late!"

Haist! It's Jannah, my cousin, very modest in school, but here at home, she's annoying and chatty. She's eighteen years old. 2nd year college and also a full scholar at Ice Academy.

She's like a sister to me. We're pretty much on the same page. There's also a little scuffle sometimes. But it's inevitable, especially since we're in this house together.

"Ayisha! What?! Hurry up!"

I looked into the mirror and took my bag.

"I'm coming out! Hang on a second!"

I repaired my shoelace first and promptly opened the door.

I smiled abundantly in front of my cousin who now had her nose smoking with irritation.

"Peace."

I still smiled at her giving her the sign of peace. She winked at me and looked at me from top to bottom.

I looked at what I was wearing, perhaps something wasn't right.

"Jannah, is there any problem with my clothes? Why do you look this way?"

There's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing. This is just a shirt that I'm wearing with a black leather jacket. Then I wear tattered jeans. The shape was somewhat masculine.

"That doesn't suit you, Ayisha."

She teased me when she grabbed her bag out of the chair. Ha-ha, I knew she'd say that. I burst out laughing and went home first. She came after me.

"You know, Jannah, haven't you gotten used to what I wear? You know I don't like dresses as much as you do." I turned to her while pointing at the pink cocktail dress she was wearing.

We were about to crash because of my sudden stop. Happily, she withdrew quickly. I opened the gate of the house and Jannah and I strolled out together.

"By the way, isn't Aaron going with us?" I said.

The youngest of Jannah's brothers is Aaron. Even though there are only two of them, they don't get along. They resemble a dog and cat, respectively.

Aaron is a freshman like me, except he's taking English as a major in his Bachelor of Secondary Education. At the Ice Academy, he is a full scholar as well.

"Why not join in? Not really because he was in front of us, though. He's an early bird, you know. He doesn't act slowly and slowly as you do."

The thought of Jannah makes me uncomfortable.

"Come on, we might be late!"

Our house is only a short distance from the Ice Academy, there is no need to take a ride, so I went ahead of her.

"Hey! Gaga! Are you excited to see Kian?" She nudged my side and laughed teasingly.

"What the hell, Jannah! I'm not happy to see Kian!" I smacked her hand as she poked me.

"And one more thing, don't you ever mention that arrogant man! If you don't stop there, I'll really hit you and I might forget you're my cousin. He doesn't interest me, and I have no intention of getting to know him."

I don't like who I am. The moment I hear his name, I morph into a monster. I'm grateful. I'm not his kind of girl. If I hit him, he'll be lucky!

"Hoi! Ayisha! What exactly are you saying there?"

Here comes my mischievous cousin again.

"No, did I say something? Let's hurry, maybe our room is on the third floor, Miss M is already there."

Yes, I was rude to one of our instructors, but how did we overcome the pregnant woman's tenacity?

"We appear to be running late. Let's go, Ayisha! There's still a quiz to take! "

"Wow, this girl is insane! Are you going to abandon me and flee?"

I looked at my watch.

"Sh*t! Only 2 minutes left and I'll be late for our quiz! Please wait for me!" That girl was lightning fast.

Since I was about to be late, I prepared myself. I ran quickly, trying to recall what I had studied the night before. I still close my eyes and recall my lessons. I haven't seen Jannah yet; perhaps she has arrived in our room.

I grabbed my bag as I ran to get the pen and paper. I was well prepared, so when I entered the room, I was already seated in my chair.

Where's my ballpen? I guess I forgot about it at home. I keep running without looking around because I'm looking for my ballpen in my bag.

"Oh! Sh*t! What the hell! Are you blind?!" the man yelled at me, but I couldn't see him because I had fallen on the concrete and scattered all my belongings in the hallway.

"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to," I apologized, but I didn't look at him because I was too busy picking up my belongings.

I don't mind if my hair is a mess anymore, and I even smiled when I saw my ballpen at the man's feet; I was about to pick it up when he kicked it away, sending it flying far away.

I stood up quickly while still sweating.

"What's the matter with you? You know I'm late for my quiz because of you!" I straightened my hair and looked at the man in front of me.

"You?!"

My eyes widened when I saw who was in front of me, and I began to transform back into a monster when I realized the man I despised was the one I ran into.

"Why are you staring at me? Do you fancy me?" He approached me slowly.

"Hoi! Chonggo! Your face is so ugly! I'm not going to like you! Over my beautiful dead body! Yucks! I'm going to kill you!" I even pretended to be sick of his expression.

I just backed away because he kept approaching me. I'm not sure what I'm feeling. Why am I concerned about this guy? Bw*tch him! I shouldn't bother him. I came to a halt and met his lethal stare.

I didn't move and kept my fear to myself.

"Oops! That's it, Mr. Kian Thayre Ice!" I stopped him by waving my hand in front of him.

He gave me an evil look, and the edge of his gaze made me nervous. Hey, I'm not going down without a fight. I stood up straight and looked each other in the eyes.

"If you don't mind, Mr. Kian, first and foremost, I don't like you! Second, you're not my type of guy! Third, can you leave my presence because I'm too late for my quiz!" I pushed him with all my might, leaving him sprawled in the corridor.

I hurried up the stairwell to the third floor. When I looked at the clock, I realized I was 5 minutes late. He's an impediment! Arghhh! Kiannnnnn! You're really starting to irritate me! My heart is bursting at the seams with rage.

"Ayisha! Wait!" he yelled. Will he really refuse to let me go? I'm going to be late for the quiz. He'll make things worse for me. You're such a wuss!

I ignored him and kept going up the stairs. I was about three steps away from reaching the third floor when someone suddenly grabbed my leg.

"Sh*t! Are you stupid! Or just plain stupid! What if I hit my head! Can you give me my life back!" I groaned in pain as I fell down the stairwell.

I was on the verge of kissing the stairs. My failure, I believe, was disastrous.

"I'm not a jerk! Hello there, lady! You simply forgot to bring this piece of paper and your ballpen!" I quickly grabbed what he was holding and was about to stand up when I fell down the stairs again.

"You alright?"

He approached me and took my hand in his.

"Don't touch me! I wouldn't be this way if it wasn't for you! You're so arrogant! That is why you treat me so badly! " I yelled at him, crying, because I couldn't stop myself from the extreme irritation and pain in my foot.

"Look! I didn't mean for you to be like this. If it isn't to your clumsiness! You would never experience anything like that! Come on in!"

He grabbed my bag and lifted me like a pig; put me down! Chonggo ka, where are you taking me?" I patted his back as we descended the stairs, wondering where he was taking me.

I struggle, but he never put me down.

"Don't be naughty, girl! I'll just take you to a happy place."

He just kept going down. My posture is making me dizzy. It's as if I'm suspended from the ceiling. He was only holding my waist and head behind him. He dragged me around like a heel.

"Put me down, I demanded! I'm not going with you! I'll scream if you don't put me down!"

I wasn't even listened to; I just let him take me wherever he wanted to take me, and our voices echoed in the hallway that only the two of us could hear.

When I felt my vision spinning, I simply closed my eyes. Later, I could feel him slowly lowering me, but because my eyes were spinning, I fell straight to the floor when he got off of me.

"Hello, Lady! This isn't a swimming pool! Place yourself right there! Hey!" he yelled at me, but my vision was blurring.

I couldn't make him out, but before I passed out, I felt him pick me up and heard him say,

"I'm sorry, Ayisha."

Chapter 2 will be exciting.
