MEDICINE AND FRUITS

Chapter 8|Medicine and Fruits

AYISHA'S POV

"Please, Ayisha, wake up."

What happened? Who's crying next to me? I slowly opened my eyes and looked around, feeling myself. I moved my finger, but it was held by someone.

"Ayisha! Get up! Thank you, God! "

Jannah hugged me while crying, and I felt like I was going to die if this girl could cry.

"I can't breathe, Ja-Jannah."

Her hug is so tight, how can it be?

"Sorry, I'm sorry. "I'm just glad you're awake."

She loosened her embrace and wiped away her tears. Hahaha! What the hell is Jannah doing? But I'm very happy because she's always by my side, no matter where I am.

I sat up slowly on the bed. Jannah supports me. Wait! How did I end up here? And who brought me here? Ouch! When it suddenly hurt, I held my head.

"How are you doing, Sha? Does your heart still hurt?"

She pressed her ear against my chest and listened to its pulse.

"Hahaha! You're completely insane, Nah! Stop doing what you're doing! To me, you appear to be a fool. Hahaha! "

When I said that, she quickly walked away and gave me a dirty look.

"Hahahaha! You're hilarious, Nah! " I just poked her side with a smile.

"Hahaha! Stop it, Sha. Stop! "

I didn't stop her from tickling her side, and laughter rang out from all four corners of the room.

I was aware that I had a heart condition, but I didn't alert those around me to the fact. I don't want their sympathy, so I'll do it as long as I can hide it.

I looked into Jannah's eyes.

"Thank you very much, Nah," I said.

"As long as it's for you, I'll do anything; I adore you!" she said with a wink. This girl is completely insane.

She got out of bed and grabbed an apple.

"Well, I have a question for you," I said as she continued to peel apples.

"What is that, Sha?" she inquired, still preoccupied with her work.

"Who brought me to the hospital in the first place? And who purchased those fruits? Wow, that's a lot," I said, pointing to a basket of apples and oranges.

"How did you get the money to buy my medicine?" I noticed a bag with the Pharmacy stamp on it.

She dropped the knife and then picked it up again.

"A, er, to... my friend. Yes, I borrowed money from my friend."

Is Jannah telling the truth? Why is she trembling and unable to look at me?

"Kian brought you here to the hospital, after all."

What?! Kian brought me here?!

"Are you sure you're telling the truth?"

No way! He couldn't have brought me here! Maybe... maybe he'll be aware of my condition.

I rose quickly and approached Jannah.

"Nah! Does he know I'm sick?" I gripped her shoulder and didn't take my gaze away from her.

"No, I didn't tell him about your illness. This is your apple," she said as she helped me sit up in bed.

Haaaay! Thank you and that chonggo doesn't know my condition. I don't want him to pity me and laugh at me.

I chewed the apple after biting it.

"Sha, what happened? Why did you collapse so suddenly?"

I bit again and looked her in the eyes. Since I was inside the classroom back then, I took a deep breath before telling her everything.

"I despise Kian! He should brace himself for me when I see him! That jerk! Enough for him to embarrass you and say hurtful things!"

Her face shows her rage towards Kian. Even I get irritated when I recall Kian's humiliation of me.

"Hahaha! Just relax, you might end up in the hospital."

My cousin is genuinely concerned. After all, who else will help each other if not the two of us?

"Gaga! I don't have a heart condition! So you don't have to worry about me." This isn't a joke anymore.

"Don't worry, Nah, from now on I won't hit Kian anymore and I will ignore him either."

Perhaps it's better this way than to embarrass myself once more.

I'll forget how much I like him. Wait! What am I referring to? I dislike that man. If I don't have a date, it's up to me, but not with the guy who always turns me on.

"That's great. Don't worry, I'll assist you in preventing Kian from approaching you. And as for our project, it will be my responsibility to speak with Ms. M. Do you want to go with her to say you don't want Kian to be your partner? " She looked at me, waiting for my response.

"Don't worry, Nah, I'll handle it. Maybe I should just tell Ms. M that I'm only going to record about my life."

While still staring at Jannah, I bit into the apple again.

He'll take care of his life from now on. It's just his arrogance and his arrogance; because he's rich and heir to the Academy, that's how he treats me!

"Hoi! You're perplexed once more. Are you okay? "

What the hell, I didn't even realize I was stunned; it's all the chonggong's fault; I wouldn't be this way if it weren't for him.

"Ah, yes, I'm fine; however, we need to get out of here, Nah! We still have class!"

I jumped to my feet and grabbed my bag.

"Ayisha! Stop! It's 5 p.m.! Your last subject is about to begin. You're absent, and I'm absent as well, but don't worry because Xander informed our instructors." I frowned at her.

"What exactly did you say? Is Xander aware that we're here? "

She took my hand in hers and forced me to sit next to her.

"Of course! Yes, he's aware that we're here because he drove me here this morning. I waited for you to wake up for several hours."

She waited a long time for me?

"Nah, let's go home so I can rest properly."

I don't want to be in the hospital; staying here will only make me weaker.

"First and foremost, we must bid farewell to the doctor. We need to know if you're ready to go out." She groped me.

"Do you feel better?" Is there any discomfort?"

I simply smiled at her to indicate that I was no longer in pain.

"You stay there! I'm just going to see the doctor!"

I just lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling, remembering what happened before I passed out. Is it true that Kian apologized to me? How could he react when I lost consciousness? Is he worried as well?

Haaaayyyy. Ayisha, wake up to reality! Make it a point to never be concerned about that man! Maybe I just misheard it. If that man apologizes, it's impossible.

What makes me think of him? Arghhhh! Kian! You are a real thorn in my life! And I'm not interested in being your boyfriend because you're not my type and you're an arrogant man. You have an overabundance of self-importance.

Despite this, a part of me is saddened by the prospect of no longer being able to communicate with Kian. Maybe I was right to distance myself from him. I'll forget that we met. Is it possible that I will forget him? Sorry, but I'm not sure.

I was thinking when the door burst open and Jannah entered with the doctor and two nurses. They came up to me and checked me.

"Doc, how are her vital signs? Can we go home now?" Jannah inquired.

"Yes, cause your bill has already been paid. And she's in better shape than before. Let's just keep the patient from feeling strong emotions so this doesn't happen again, and she should also take her medicine."

After that, the doctor said good-bye to us.

I immediately asked Jannah after they left the room.

"Nah, Who paid our bill?"

She just shrugged her shoulders, as if she, too, didn't know. Who paid if not Jannah? Kian, perhaps? Why did I become nervous again when I thought of Kian? What was it about that man that turned me into this?

Jannah rose and slung the bag over her shoulder. She also took my bag.

"Ayisha, maybe Kian paid; it's also his fault you're here, and he's wealthy."

Jannah, after all, was correct. What could happen to our activity? Should I keep dating Kian? It's all up to me! I needed to find a way to avoid him.

"Ayisha, hurry up. We're going home, and Mom is clearly concerned about the two of us."

I stood up and followed Jannah out of the room. It's up to Batman tomorrow; I need to speak with Ms. M about my activity. I'm sorry, Kian, but I have to avoid you at all costs; just don't cross our paths.
