CONCERN

Chapter 7|Concern

KIAN'S POV

"Ayisha! No! Ayisha! Get up! I apologize. Ayisha!!! "

What's wrong with her? Why am I worried? It's all my fault! I picked her up and dashed towards the elevator.

Ayisha, you make me nervous.

I exited the elevator and arrived at the ground level, where the parking lot is.

Sorry if I was harsh with you, Ayisha.

When the elevator doors opened, I dashed to my car and was driven out of the Academy, glancing back at Ayisha in the backseat.

We arrived at the hospital in a matter of minutes, where the owner is a family friend of mine.

I quickly exited the car and opened the backseat, where the girl I despised lay.

Yes, I despise her because she's the only one of the special girls who doesn't like me. She was the only one who didn't fall for my charm.

I picked her up and dashed inside the hospital.

"Nurse! Please assist her!"

The nurse arrived quickly.

" Sir Kian?"

The Nurse was taken aback by my reaction. Yes, this hospital recognizes me.

"Help me! I need to know what happened to her?" I couldn't keep my voice down.

It's my fault she's acting this way, so if something bad happens to this gorilla, I'll be the one to blame.

The nurses rushed Ayisha to the emergency room.

"Sir, you are not permitted to enter."

They finally entered the E.R. after the nurse turned her back on me.

I'm sorry, Ayisha. I know I'm cruel to you, but I just don't want it to be obvious that I feel bad about what I do. I'm not sure why I'm so concerned about you.

When I saw how she cried, I could feel her pain, and it felt like the pain I was feeling was multiplied by two.

I'm only now doing it with a woman after the person I adored left me. I assumed Ayisha was like any other girl who would fall for me, but I was mistaken because she's different.

I just walked back and forth outside the emergency room. I don't mind if I don't finish my next subjects. The most important thing is that I can look after gorilla.

My phone abruptly rang, and I came to a halt. I quickly took it from my pocket and noticed that it was Xander who had called.

"Hello, bro, where are you now?" I heard on the other end of the line.

"Xander, I'm begging Kian, I need to know what's going on with Ayisha," the woman on the other end of the line said. I knew it had to be Jannah.

"Bro, come see me here at Thy*** Hospital. I'm just outside the emergency room."

I took a deep breath because of the nervousness I felt.

"Alright, bro, Jannah and I are on our way."

I just sat on the chair outside the E.R. after we talked. I knelt and picked up my bag. I apologize, Ayisha.

Is she ill? What's causing her difficulty breathing? Is this my fault! I'm sorry, Ayisha. I will try not to make you cry again.

I was just bending over when the doctor emerged from the emergency room. I stood up and moved in closer.

"Uncle, how is she? Why did she pass out? What happened to her?" I inquired. I'm eager to know what happened to gorilla.

My Uncle Doctor tried to smile as he looked at me.

"Kian, according to her findings, the patient has a heart problem. She should avoid being too happy, and she should also avoid getting angry or emotional. Her heart will spontaneously palpitate when she gets angry or cries."

I couldn't immediately speak what I found out. Does she have a heart condition? Is this why she went pale and writhed in pain earlier?

I put my hand on the shoulder of Doctor Lim, the Hospital's owner and a family friend.

"Uncle, has she been sick for a long time?" I inquired, a little nervously.

"Her condition isn't that bad. She just needs to take the medicine I'll give to her, and let's not let this happen again. Avoid her feeling too much emotion, or it will happen again."

He handed me the medication. Uncle Lim patted my shoulder and returned to the emergency room.

I sat up weakly, dumbfounded, and stared at the floor. Is Ayisha suffering from heart disease? Why can't I feel anything? Why did I let it get this far? Is she aware that she is ill? Why am I so concerned about you, Ayisha?

The corners of my eyes suddenly warmed up. It's entirely my fault! I'm sorry, Ayisha. I couldn't stop my tears. It fell to the ground by itself. Why am I sobbing? She plays no role in my life. Isn't that right?

I was in that position when I heard the emergency room door open and the nurse emerge. I noticed Ayisha was still unconscious and had oxygen attached to her. I quickly wiped my tears and approached her. Her face is extremely pale, as are her lips.

"We'll just take her to her room, Sir," the nurse said abruptly.

I simply followed them until we arrived at the room. They placed Ayisha on the bed and adjusted the oxygen mask that was attached to her.

Later, Xander and Jannah suddenly arrived.

"How is Ayisha?" "What happened?"

Jannah's face shows nervousness and concern. I'm at a loss for words.

"I'm sorry, it was my fault."

I've put my pride aside.

"What did you do to her?" she yelled as she approached Ayisha.

"Caz, wake up." She wiped her tears while still looking at her.

She eventually stood up and approached me.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER? I HEARD SHE'S CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU! DID YOU KNOW SHE'S FORBIDDEN TO FEEL EXCESSIVE EMOTIONS BECAUSE SHE'S SICK! CAN YOU HEAR IT! SHE'S SICK!" She wiped her tears away again, her gaze fixed on me.

"Slow down, Jah."

Xander reached out to touch her, but she simply shook her hand.

"Take Kian with you! YOU DID NOTHING BUT HURT MY COUSIN! GET OUT!" Jannah yelled angrily at us.

I want to reprimand her, but everything she says is correct. It's entirely my fault.

Xander looked at me and patted my shoulder. I understood what he meant. I returned my gaze to Ayisha before Xander and I exited the room together. I didn't think this would happen. It was my fault.

"What happened, bro?"

Xander immediately asked me after we left the room. Because I trust him, I told him everything that had happened.

"Bro, I know it's all my fault."

We just talked while leaving the hospital. I can't understand myself.

"I just saw you doing this again, bro, since you and Steffany broke up," He said, recalling the girl who had broken my heart.

"Don't mention her again, bro." I responded with annoyance.

"Bro, confess to me, do you like Ayisha?"

What? Xander's question brought me to a halt and rendered me speechless.

"Anyway, ignore my question, let's go! We'll get them something to eat. Ayisha will wake up soon."

Xander and I left the hospital to go grocery shopping. We didn't say anything while shopping for food. We also took a short break before returning to the hospital.

"Don't worry, bro, she'll get better."

Xander had noticed how quiet I was. Yes, I've only recently become quiet. I'm the type to always open my mouth when I'm with Xander, but now I'm at a loss for words.

"No problem, bro."

I just smiled at him and we went to the pharmacy, where I bought the medicine for Ayisha, knowing she wouldn't accept it, so I had to speak with Xander.

I confronted him after purchasing the medication.

"Bro, could you please be the one to give this to Jannah?" "It's up to you what excuse you give her," I pleaded.

" No problem. Let's go."

We walked together towards Ayisha's room. I was worried that she was awake, and I didn't want to irritate her further, so I abruptly stopped.

"Oh, bro! Is there an issue? " Xander frowned as he looked at me.

""I won't show Ayisha first, bro, because she might get angrier with me. Don't tell her that the medicine and food came from me, or she might reject it. Only you can come in, bro. I'll just get some air first."

I finally said my goodbyes to Xander and entered the elevator to the ground floor, dazed.

Ayisha, I hope you'll forgive me. I care about you, but I don't want to show it to you.
