Chapter 3

SWEETS and desserts are my weakness. I will never give up chocolates and cakes. I can't do anything with the fact that I really enjoy the food.

Treats are always first on the list of things I want to eat. Especially cakes, cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies. And I can eat them for free at Lover's Café.

I'm sexy and I'm the only one who knows it!

I also believe that being sexy cannot be measured by the body. For me, a person is sexy if they have a sense of humor. If smart! Coincidentally, I understood that word differently than others did.

Their knowledge is limited. And one of them is Kier Williams!

And surprisingly, I’m not yet used to those antics of Kier. I was even surprised even though I knew the sarcasm and insults he was throwing at me.

If I had high blood pressure, he would definitely be the cause of my death.

Knock on wood, don't!

I am not numb, I am secretly hurt.

"OH, my, Tristan is really handsome." I heard Kim whisper.

I winced because of what my friend said, she was looking out of my bedroom window.

Kim smiled as she watched Tristan, he was playing basketball with his friend Kier.

"Hey, Kim! Your mouth is open. There might be a fly here in my room and it will enter your mouth."

"Oh, my God! His abs. Hot, hot, hot!" said Kim, and bit her lower lip. It seemed like I wasn’t next to her and she could only see my brother, Tristan. "Architect, Tristan Madrid. The boy-next-door type. Clean and boyish-looking. Son and the heir of one of the huge 'Madrid Advertising Company'. You're like a camera, you've captured my heart so much."

Ew, she's corny! I whispered to myself and rolled my eyes.

I almost poured the Milky Iced Tea I was drinking on my best friend to stop her mania. I don’t want to hear how hot or sexy my brother is.

I can no longer remember when Kim’s attraction to Tristan started. And I can’t even remember how many times my friend told me that she would forget Tristan when she found out my older brother had a girlfriend. But when Tristan is single, Kim hopes that she will be my brother's girlfriend.

"Oh my gosh! His muscles, God! I want to squeeze them," Kim added. She looks like a kid blinking her eyes – beautiful eyes! "I want to kiss him. Tristan, my love!"

I couldn't stand it anymore. I picked up the soft pillow and threw it to her. Kim was hit in the head. She turned to me and frowned. Still not satisfied, she glared at me.

"What's your problem, Fatima?" Kim growled at me. "You're ruining my moment!"

"What moment? I'm horrified by what you're saying. Yucks!" I said frowning. I even pretended to be shaking for extra effect. "Stop staring at Tristan, he might melt."

When Tristan's name was mentioned Kim's facial expression changed. Her aura was happy again and she smiled sweetly. My friend ignored me again.

"Tristan. My Tristan… My one, and only love." Kim said dreamily. She's back to the illusion of love.

I let Kim fantasize about my brother. That's all my friend can do. The sneaky looks from afar.

When Kim is in front of my brother, she looks like a wet chick hiding behind me.

Kim is beautiful and sexy. They are both fresh graduates of the MBA course.

I graduated with a Master of Business Administration. Because I want to help my father.

My older brother Tristan is an architect and employee of Montero Construction and Development Corporation. For some unknown reason, he chose to work for another company instead of helping our father.

I just focused my attention on my laptop. As usual, I will watch my favorite famous vlogger again.

"Fat."

I winced.

"Don’t call me that name,” I said. I’m used to hearing only Kier call me Fat.

"Tristan is straight, right?"

"What?" I didn't hear what Kim said. I looked at her. Her attention was still outside the window.

"You told me, your older brother already had three ex-girlfriends. But you didn't mention that Kier had a girlfriend. Which of them is gay?"

My eyes almost popped out in shock. "Silly question!"

I stood next to her at the window. I watched two men playing basketball next to our swimming pool.

Tristan was wearing shorts and a white shirt. Kier was also wearing shorts but had no top. I don't see any malice in their clothes.

I watched them carefully. They are both handsome. Especially the “malignant” Kier. But I couldn’t stop my eyes from staring at him.

For the first time, my eyes became sinful. I couldn't take my eyes off Kier's muscular chest. Oh, my eyes are still innocent. Forgive me, Lord!

"Look at them," Kim grunted. "My Tristan is one hundred percent manly. But Kier, I have a doubt!"

I winced. Jeez, my friend is already claiming my brother.

"You mean… Kier might be gay?"

"Yes!" Kim replied. She frowned and glared at Kier. "I'm not against same-sex relationships. But I don't want Kier to be my rival, because he's Tristan's best friend. And Tristan is the only apple of my eyes, Fat."

I winced again when Kim used the magic words that Kier often called me.

"They're best friends so they're close." I was convincing her. "I'm the one telling you, Kier isn't like you suspected."

"Look at them, Fat. I will pinch Kier's groin. He's flirty! He hugged Tristan. I, I'm the one who should do that and not him."

"You're so paranoid," I said, shaking my head. "You have to watch a basketball game on television so that you have the idea that it's normal for players to do that. I mean to hug each other."

We left the window and sat on the side of my bed.

"Later let's go to the church, you need to get rid of that dirt in your mind."

I folded my laptop. We went out of my room to have a snack in the living room.
