SERA

“W-what did you just say?” I stuttered a bit, blinking, visibly taken aback by what the long-haired boy just said.

He smirked at me, causing my heart to pound in utter fury.

“C’mon, don't act like a saint,” He snickered, licking his lips, his eyes running through my body like he wanted to devour it mercilessly, making me feel more furious and utterly naked. “I'll be quick, let's go over to the last stall. I'll fuck you like you've never been fucked before, and I'll make sure your holes…”

Before he could finish what he was saying, my hand flew across the air with a heavy impact, landing on his cheeks.

I expected him to get mad, but to my utter horror, he didn't.

Rather, he smirked at me, sweeping his long, lustrous, dark hair off his handsome face… trust me, I hate to admit he's handsome, but he is.

“Feisty!” He said, “I love them feisty. I've met a lot of feisty girls, Cupcake…”

“Don't call me that!” I spat at him.

“... and at first, they play hard to get,” He went on, regardless, the annoying smirk on his face broadening, “But at the end of the day, they all end up begging for my dick like the bitchy sluts they are! And when I fuck, I make sure I leave them stretched out, pounded into oblivion, and leaking of my seeds for days… wanna try?”

What was I doing here again?

Who is this boy that makes me want to grab that thick neck of his and snap it into two?

I want to kill him!

I remember just a few minutes ago, I was extremely upset.

My mom suddenly fell in love and got engaged to this rich guy who lives in New York without even consulting me. And you know what that means?

That means that I would leave my life here in LA, my friends, everything and everyone and everyone I've known for years to go live in New York, and I was upset about that.

And then today, she forced me to come to this restaurant to meet her fiancé and his son for the first time.

My anxiety wouldn't let me.

I'm an introvert, so yeah, I'm scared of meeting new people. So I told my mom that I need to go to the restroom to ease myself, and she told me the table where I can find them.

So, here I came, the restroom and I found this creep standing beside the door to the restroom.

I ignored him and was about to enter when he called me and asked me if I wanted to have a quickie with him!

Imagine that!

So direct! So blunt! So shameless!

He stepped closer. “Come on, you want this monster cock, you know you want this monster cock.”

“You disgust me!” I grimaced in utter repulsion before turning around and walking away.

I could feel his eyes on me as I hurriedly walked away, but I refused to turn.

I found my mom at the designated table in the arms of a bearded man with long dark hair that had some streaks of grey in it.

The mere sight of them together doing this in public repulsed me.

I would have never imagined that my mom would move on from my dad so quickly.

They were lovebirds.

And they made me believe in love.

I wanted what they had.

It was… beautiful.

But life always has a way of pulling you down when you least expect it.

Five years ago, my father passed away in a car accident, and yet, here she was, playing lovey-dovey with another man.

She's my mom, but what a bitch she was!

Yes, I said what I said.

How much I wanted to grab her hair and smack the newfound love out of her!

She wasn't aware of my presence as she giggled to whatever the man was whispering to her and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

The man noticed my presence and glanced up, then met my eyes.

“You must be Sera.” He said in a deep, baritone voice that already got on my nerves, his lips curling into a friendly smile, “Hi!”

God, I already hate him!

My mom glanced up and smiled at me.

“Sera, you're back.” She said, leaning off the chest of the man and tucking her hair behind her ears. “Meet, Henry.” She introduced, placing a hand on his chest.

“Hi, Sera,” Henry's smile broadened as he extended a long, hairy, masculine hand towards me. “Your mom has told me a whole lot about you. You look exactly like your mother. It's nice to finally meet you.”

That smile on his handsome face ticked me off so bad!

“Well, I can't say the same!” I retorted, my tone laced with brusqueness as I took a seat opposite them.

The atmosphere changed slightly as Henry chuckled nervously.

My mom's face hardened as she glared at me surreptitiously.

She had warned me in the car to be on my best behavior when I met Henry, and Heaven knows I have absolutely no intention of obeying that order!

“So, what now?” I asked, folding my hands across my chest as I pointed my chin at both of them, “We've been introduced, can we go now?”

“Sera!”

“What? I told you, I didn't want to come here in the first place, but you made me.” I retorted, “I'm here, and I've met him, now can I go?”

I may be an introvert, but when I'm mad, I totally forget about being an introvert.

I know I shouldn't be mad.

I was upset.

But now I'm mad.

Why?

I knew the answer to that.

That long-haired creep I met in the bathroom turned my mood sour. I wish I had done more than just smack his stupid face!

Well, poor you, Henry, I'm gonna have to take it out on you!

“Look, Sera,” He called me in a fatherly tone, leaning closer, “I know how you must be feeling at the moment…”

“I guarantee you don't!” I interrupted, scoffing a bit as I tilted my head slightly to the side, clearly enjoying the furious and flabbergasted look on my mom's face as her hands turned into fists by her sides. “And don't act like my dad, you're not and never will be my…”

“What's going on here?” I heard a familiar amused voice saying behind me, and I quickly whipped my head around in utter curiosity.

My eyes widened in surprise as I locked eyes with that long-haired creep I met in the bathroom.

What the fuck is he doing here? I wondered, my heart pounding against my ribs.

If he was as surprised as I was, I couldn't tell. I could only tell that he was amused to see me.

“Daemon,” Mom called, and he turned to her.

Wait, Mom knows this creep?

“Hi, Lucy.” He greeted, faking a smile, then returning his eyes to me as that annoying smirk on his face broadened. “Is this… Sera?”

How in God's name did he know my name?

“Yes, Sera, this is Daemon, Henry's son.” Mom said.

My heartbeat intensified.

And his smirk broadened in amusement.

Heaven knows how much I wanted to smack it off his face!

Oh, God, no!

“Well, well, things just got… interesting.”

She gasped, seeing how serious I was. “Then…” Sophie interjected, “Then that means that everything we've planned…” “Are all in vain.” Sophie completed for her. Susan groaned in evident anger, sweeping her hair off her face. “You've gotta be shitting me! And fuck it! I'm not sorry for swearing this time.” “Are you okay with this?” Sophie asked, searching my eyes, “You're okay with movin
