When Riley woke up from the dream, it was already dawn. The lights were dimmed in the room, a bit dark and eerily silent. But Riley didn't feel lonely or gloomy waking up to this because a warm hand held her hand tightly as if its owner was terrified she would run away if he didn't hold her hand.
