Chapter 22 No Turning Back

Tim and Eric shake their heads at the sharpness of Arah's tongue while the rest were surprised. While Helen chuckles despite her tears. She always loves Arah's dark humor, it reminds her of herself.

"You need to be tended in the hospital" she added.

"Okay," he readily agrees without opening his eyes but tightens his hold on her hand. While the rest were relieved by his agreement.

"Arah...!" he suddenly jolted when he was rolled towards the ambulance and Arah let go of his hand. Like earlier, he starts to struggle again.

"I'm here, following you" she quickly looms above him to show herself. Only by then, he calms down. But his lidded eyes kept on checking on her. Despite their unusual relationship, she worries a lot about him.

She keeps up despite almost running. She was surprised by how Luther obeyed her but it was an opportunity they need to bring him to the hospital.

"Mom, dad, I will go with Arah and Luther in the ambulance" Tim turns to their parents who instantly nodded befo
