Chapter 44 Her Father

"Dad, nice to see you again" Arah casually greeted her father, the infamous surgeon, Dr. Rene Rechner.

"Good to see you, Amara. You're looking great" the man seriously mutters while hugging her. Like her, the man has an impartial disposition.

It's been a few days since the Petrov visit and now they are notified that Amara's father requested to meet with them. Though surprised by his interest, she has already expected he will inquire once the word of her being with Luther Steel will come out in public.

And tonight, they are at the Steel mansion. Helen arranged a dinner to heed the request of Arah's father.

After greeting him she turns to her stepmother who is quietly standing at the side.

"Hello, auntie Melly" she greeted the woman who tenderly smiles at her while receiving her hug.

"Hello, Arah. You are looking great as always. How are you?" the woman softly asked. Though she has been with Rene for almost five years, she is still timid around his only daughter.

"I'm fine, Auntie.
