Chapter 49 Unknown Journey

"Come, Arah. Dinner will be ready soon"

A soft voice interrupted her thoughts and as she turns in its direction, she was met by puppy-doe eyes she is now used to seeing.

A set of eyes she was so familiar with. It mirrors her own. But unlike the other, hers is filled with dispassion.

Riley, a fifteen-year-old boy kept on tailing her since she arrives over a couple of months ago. His face is the male version of hers.

Her mother's son. A thirteen-year difference in her age. Born a year after her mother met her new husband.

For ten long years, her mother is without anyone, contrary to what her father made her believe. She didn't leave for another man. She knew it now, though she hasn't asked her. Somehow she almost collected all parts of the puzzle she needed to complete.
