Just as I was coming out from the dressing room, I heard the workers on the set talking. I hid myself to listen to them.

"You know the female lead rival right? She's a sly fox. I pity for the real girl that got the position.

She just came from nowhere and stole someone else's role.

I don't think she'll be able to act properly though, the previous actress was good," One of them said.

"Yes, that girl Isla, she got her role through connections and her audition was for mere formality as it was already decided to give her the role," Another said.

What? What were they talking about?

I got this role through connection?

What do they mean by that?

I couldn't hold myself any longer, I made myself known to them.

They immediately stopped talking when they saw me, they pretended to be doing something else.

"I heard what you were saying but I don't understand a thing you were talking about. What do you mean the audition was just for formality sake and I got my role through connection
