Ashley went upstairs, not believing her ears. Mr Reyes was already prompting them about a baby when she just became the wife yesterday. He seems to be in a hurry.

She hasn't even gotten the time to know Jason more and he already began talking about an heir.

She did have an intention to engage in a divorce once her mom regained stability. But things are getting complicated now.

The older man isn't her husband and he wanted an heir. Suddenly she started burning again. The thought of having a baby with Jason made her hot.

"Are we going to be sleeping together? Ashley used her hand to fan herself as an indication that she felt hot.

Jason grinned "You seem so nervous about it, relax" Jason pulled off his trousers after he stood up from the bed.

Ashley shut her eyes without hesitation " Hey!! I was right about you being a pervert!

She angrily said while using her left hand to cover her eyes.

Jason busted out a laugh.

" What is so funny, haha " Ashley still held her hand on her eyes.

" Aren't you my wife? , besides I'm not even stark naked " Jason mischievously smiled and barged into the bathroom.

He wanted to have his shower.

Ashley seeing that Jason had disappeared to the bathroom. She let go of her hands and sighed.

But then Jason jokingly opened the door of the bathroom and requested "Wanna join me?!

"Hey!" Ashley shut her eyes again. "pervert!"

He started out laughing again.

He did that because he found her funny and interesting.

Ashley prepared and went to work. Jason insisted on dropping her off after they got their marriage certificate even though she didn't arrive early any longer. They had a driver but Jason wanted to do it himself. Maybe he was somewhat comfortable around her.

"You really didn't have to" They had arrived but Ashley kept on complaining. She directed him through the way all the while they were coming.

"It is okay honey" Jason winked at her, he began to tease the hell out of her.

Ashley glared at him, not in a serious way though. Ashley couldn't get enough of his incredible looks even though they had not spent up to a day after meeting.

"Are you sure you will find your way back?" Ashley remembered that he had not been in town.

" Don't worry sweetie, I can manage." Jason gave her that naughty smile.

Ashley rolled her eyes "Suit yourself, then" and she turned to leave.

"If you ever need anything, call your honey or baby!" Jason grinned while taunting her with those words.

He turned the car and left while he was shining his teeth.

Louisa caught a glimpse of Jason dropping her off. She rushed towards Ashley and hugged her.

"Hey, who was that? It appeared like a flashy car" Louisa inquired, after releasing her grip from Ashley.

"I will explain everything later, let's get on with work first. Ashley guaranteed and they strode in.

The restaurant Ashley worked in had shifts. She always worked from morning till 2:00 p.m.

Same with Louisa so she had enough to tell her friend everything and to also pay her dad and mom a visit.

While they were at work, Alexis walked in with two of her friends into the restaurant.

Alexis never knew that was where Ashley worked. The moment she strolled in and saw her in the waitress uniform.

She smirked and muttered to herself, "The angels must have sent me here".

"what? One of her friends Clara asked cause she didn't clearly hear her.

" Nothing, let's go and sit " she said and they made their way to a table.

Alexis hated Ashley to the core, back then when Ashley was still in law school with her. People were always comparing them and Ashley got more of the praises.

She got overwhelmed with envy and jealousy and was always determined to make Ashley's life miserable.

When Ashley saw Alexis, she knew a bad day had been ahead.

While Louisa was busy attending to other customers and the other waitress had been attending to other customers. She happened to be the only free person so she had to attend to them.

"What will you order Ladies? " Ashley beamed a wide smile at them while she stood waiting for them to make a decision.

Alexis was seated with two of her friends, while Ashley stood there, she started gossiping to her friends not bothering if they wasted time or not.

"Long time Ash. Heard you became a whore that seduces older men, what a shame!" Becky, one of Alexis's friends, raised her voice after Alexis whispered some things to her, they knew Ashley before she got expelled.

They curled up their eyes to Ashley, while she stood there not having anything to say to them.

"What a desperate slut, but why is working here if she married a wealthy man?" Clara, the other friend that was seated with them added.

Alexis let out a laugh " Of course it didn't turn out the way she expected it to, she has to work otherwise she would be starved, right?

Alexis stared at Ashley for an answer but their mock game went quiet when she disappointed them.

"What would you like to order? Dearies " she inquired, still flashing her teeth.

The smiles on their faces faded. Alexis picked the menu and they made their order.

Ashley gladly went to get it for them.

But when she returned with the tray of dishes, they commenced to make claims that wasn't the meal they ordered.

"Dear Ash, it seems you have an issue with your ears, you brought an entirely different thing from what we requested." Alexis pointed out to the meals set before them.

"Yeah, she is right, I think you misheard the order we made earlier, maybe you should go for an ear treatment" Clara sarcastically said while blowing the chewing gum she had in her mouth.

"Excuse me, I got you what you wanted " Ashley brought the menu and pointed at it. " You made an order for currywurst, Italian spaghetti, pork dumplings and dessert, right? And that is what I got " she concluded and kept back the menu.

"Are you saying that we are lying then, why do we have to do that, you are not even worth anything, so shut up and obey as you are told if you want to earn your salary" Becky snickered. By this time they gained attention.

"Ma'am you are being rude " Ashley lowered her voice to respond to that but Becky sprang up.

"Where is the manager, is that how you treat customers!" They had already schemed everything just to humiliate Ashley.

When the manager arrived and they all made their claims, he turned to Ashley.

"Don't you know your services anymore, get them what they ordered!" The manager fumed and left. It was three against one and she had no evidence besides she had to obey, she didn't want to lose her job just yet.

When she is set to carry the meal, the ladies kept on scoffing and mocking her, making unbelievable side comments but she ignored all of that.

While she veered around to leave, Clara, the one who was seated at the outer edge, stretched her leg causing Ashley to trip and the dishes poured on her while the plates and tray broke.

"Ashley what's wrong with you today! The manager ranted.

"I'm so sorry sir " Ashley rose to her feet and they pretended to be sorry.

"So sorry that you had to fall," Becky mockingly grinned.

"Stop that, she would think we are not sincere" Alexis retaliated and gave Ashley a scornful gaze.

Ashley clenched her fists and bit her lips, Alexis was bound to do anything to insult her.

She glared at them and suddenly she heard shouts from the ladies in the restaurant. They were staring at the TVs

"He is so handsome!

" He is like an angel!

She overheard Becky ask Alexis " he is your crush, right? It was said in the news, that he is coming to Berlin. It was his birth city. It is your opportunity to make him yours"

Curious to see who they were talking about, Ashley looked at the TV to see Jason blowing kisses and flickering his beautiful eyes.
