"It's a long story." Elly sighed and said, "On the way to school this morning, the boys said they miss their uncle. Why don't you drop by for dinner this evening and pack some food for Mom as well?"

Eric knew Mrs. Johnson's favorite food. The hospital provided meals, but none of them were her favorites.

"I'll let you know if I'll be joining you for dinner in the afternoon," said Eric.
