Chapter 29: Jandal

Taylen's pov

I got a neat pair of slops today. They had like a pair of eyes on each and together read, "Where are we going?" The bottom had been carved out so that when you step in the sand it leaves behind "Follow me." Which I thought was ironic. Mr Nova didn't find it funny and just shook his head. I still bought them.

Prince Tay and I were like friends now. He's a pretty awesome guy but he seemed to be ignoring Cuore for most of the day. Like even now. We all decided to go out for dinner... I love being in this world, I get new stuff every day and always have great food. Yeah, I'm living the life. We walked into the restaurant while Mr Nova helped Cuore. She was looking a lot better now, but her wounds were still sensitive. Today was the 14th of November, which made it 2 days since she got the wounds.     Taylen's pov It was becoming harder each day to hide my withdrawal symptoms. The food I ate tasted different. Bad. Like I should throw it up.     Cuore's pov Tay was great. He respected me and just tried his best to help me where he could. We spent all of our free time alone together. We got to know each other.
