CHAPTER NINE: Photo Booth

I bent forth toward the mirror and took a close look at my face. I don’t see any print or mark of my torn flesh but the thread of pain on my cheeks was still there. I massaged my cheeks in a circular motion. Then, I filled my mouth with air and pursed my lips puffing my cheeks. I transferred the air from the other side of my cheek then to another. The process stretched my flesh and somehow reduced the soreness.

The door of the cubicle opened and it belched Mr. Murray.

“Where are you going, Connor? How about my third org*sm?” Suzy wept. Her tone was disrespectful. She even called him by his first name.

Mr. Murray didn’t say a word. His face was blank but his eyes were restless and his hands that he hid behind his back were trembling. He left on tenterhooks.

“D*mn you!” Suzy cussed and it was followed by a loud thud of the wooden partition.

She went out of the cubicle fit to be tied.
