CHAPTER NINE: I Saw You Die

Today I would spend the first day of the three-day-event celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Silverio hiding the hickey Grip made. It has been three days but it didn’t wear off, not even a pinch.

I darted my eyes ahead and saw Grip walking in my direction. Every girl he passed by glanced at him and squealed like they were about to pee their pants.

I looked around to find an escape route. I saw a room that even a reaper wouldn’t dare to enter. I slipped through leaving Gugu behind.

“Gugu, where is Serra?” I heard him from outside.

“She was just here,” Gugu replied.

“Is she avoiding me?” he said annoyed.

The space between my brows puckered. It was unusual for a female’s comfort room to be empty. Especially today when students and outsiders scattered since the event started. Ladies would usually turn a place like this into a saloon.
