Chapter 28 The Farm

I asked Otelia, "Are they together now?"

"Together? Are you kidding me? How can he afford that gold digger after leaving you? They're just pretending to be deeply in love. Edwin was kicked out of his management agency because of his involvement with a signed artist. Now, he can't even see Verne, let alone be with her."

"Then what does he do for a living now?"

"He went back to work on the pig farm of his family."

I laughed. Knowing that he wasn't doing well made me happy.

But it wasn't enough.

After hanging up the phone, I told Amara, "Amara, I want to go back there."

Amara understood me very well, but she still had some complaints. "As long as you ask, our father won't let them escape no matter where they go. Why do you have to go back yourself?"

"I can't sleep peacefully unless I see them 'die' with my own eyes," I said.

Amara didn't try to persuade me anymore. She took care of the company's affairs and informed my parents. The next day, we went back to Senovia City.
