FREDA’S POV.

I was in the office but it seemed like I wasn’t there.

I was just occupied with the thoughts that I was going to meet my ex fiancé the next day.

I was happy that I was finally going to sort things out, and end up getting married.

My mind drifted back to Liam and I sighed deeply, I was feeling guilty.

It’s been a long time since I treated his wound and yet, he still goes around doing a lot of things in the house to make me happy.

Frankly speaking, I began to feel uncomfortable about the way he cooked and cleaned at home because I keep feeling like I’m bothering him the way I shouldn’t.

He was a good friend, that I was sure of but I still couldn’t bring myself to trust him fully.

Yeah, I trust him but not so much.

I knew he was going through a lot, even when he tried to hide it from me.
