I woke up. Before I even opened my eyes, I remembered what happened. I blacked out and fainted?!

Oh my gosh, my baby!

I immediately opened my eyes. Holding my head, I sat up. I was inside a room. I immediately realized I was in the hospital. I roamed my eyes around; I was alone, Hades wasn't there either.

I tried to stand and get out of bed when the door suddenly opened.

"Wife!" He immediately came to help me. He helped me sit back down on the bed. Once I was seated, I looked at him. His eyes looked so tired. His face was serious as he hugged me. I couldn't move.

He kissed my forehead and then buried his face in my neck.

He caressed my hair with his left hand.

"You had me worried," he whispered.

I swallowed. I felt one of his hands on my stomach, gently caressing it. I held his hand on my stomach.

Our baby...

When the doctor came in, he talked to Hades about my pregnancy, about what I should and shouldn't do.

I'm in my fourth week of pregnancy. The doctor said I might be delicate, so I need to be extra careful. Stress was the reason why I passed out, so Hades was told to keep me away from things that could stress me out.

I and the baby are doing fine, so we could be discharged immediately.

What happened to Dad? They saw me faint... Did I worry him?

I closed my eyes and put those thoughts aside for now. After Hades settled the bills, we left the hospital. He wanted me to stay for another day so I could be monitored, but I refused.

I could rest better at home than in the hospital.

The next day, Hades didn't go to the company to be with me and watch over me, so we spent the whole day together.

Tears pooled in my eyes. I tried to blink them away, but they wouldn't disappear. It's been a month since my mother went into a coma. She still hasn't woken up. There's no progress! Her surgery is done, but she's not waking up! I don't know what the doctors did, why she's still lying there?!

I couldn't help but cry in frustration. I tried to calm myself, especially since I was driving to my Dad's house.

Dad called me several times, begging me to come.

As soon as I got out of my car, I went inside their mansion. They greeted me.

Elle was smiling at me, so was Mrs. Fuego, and Dad. What do they want now?

"Why did you make me come here?" I asked coldly.

Dad approached me; he held my arms. I looked at his hands on me.

"What do you want, Dad?" I asked calmly.

I saw Elle discreetly roll her eyes, but when she saw me, she immediately plastered on a fake smile.

"Daughter... we no longer have our company," Dad began softly.

Ours? You never said I was a co-owner.

"Your company," I corrected.

Dad looked at his wife. I saw how Mrs. Fuego gritted her teeth. Dad looked back at me, now pleading.

"We need your help, daughter. Please, talk to your husband to give us back the company," Dad pleaded.

My brows furrowed. And that's the only reason he made me come here?

I thought we were going to talk about what happened the last time we were here.

Dad's company was going bankrupt, so Hades transferred the stocks to Hudson Corporation. Even though a part of me didn't want to help them, they're still my family. It's my responsibility to help them, but it's impossible to get the company back.

I shook my head. "I can't help you. Hades already took down your company. It's impossible for you to get it back," I said.

They fell silent. Dad slowly nodded in dismay.

"There's still something you can do to help us!" Our attention shifted to Elle.

She smiled and approached me. She held my hands, but I immediately brushed them off. Her smile vanished, but she forced a smile again.

"What?" I asked calmly.

"Divorce Hades," she spat.

Is she joking? I looked at Dad and Mrs. Fuego; they couldn't stop their daughter from saying that, could they?

"Are you okay?" I chuckled.

Her smile disappeared.

"Why would I do that?" I said, laughing.

"I like him, Diandra! You just stole him from me!" she thundered. I raised my eyebrows.

I didn't steal anyone.

I raised my hand, where the diamond ring Hades gave me was.

"He's married to me. You're engaged, Elle. Leave me and my husband alone," I said tiredly.

You like my husband when you're already engaged?

"I cancelled the wedding. He's not yours!" Tears welled up in her eyes.

Gosh, what the hell is her problem?

"You stole him from me!" she screamed. Tears finally fell.

I glared at her. I'm getting frustrated. I should be resting now because this isn't good for my baby. I looked at Dad, but they weren't doing anything to stop Elle, just watching their hysterical daughter.

"I didn't steal him from you," I said calmly.

"Didn't?! Diandra, he was supposed to marry me months ago!" Her voice was trembling.

Months ago? I remember during our last dinner together with Hades, they already knew each other. I didn't ask Hades about it because they were both known figures in the business industry, but I didn't know about this.

Tears streamed down Elle's face.

Her mom and Dad went to her.

"Daughter, please have mercy on your sister..." Dad said.

I scoffed.

What do you want me to do, Dad? Give Hades to her now that I'm pregnant? No way. I won't deprive my child of a father like you did to me.

"No. I won't divorce my husband," I said firmly.

"You're ungrateful!" Mrs. Fuego approached me.

Ungrateful?

"What are you saying? What did you do for me?" I asked. It felt like acid was flowing down my throat, and I wanted to vomit at what they were saying.

She fell silent, but Elle wasn't finished.

"He should have married me, not you!" she yelled furiously. Her eyes were red from crying.

I sighed. This is tiring.

"There's nothing you can do. I'm carrying his child. I won't leave him," I said and turned my back on them.

"W-What?" Elle screamed weakly as I walked out of the mansion.

Dad and Mrs. Fuego couldn't react. Only Elle was pulling me, causing me to turn around.

"No! No! That's not true! No... Please, Andra! Please!" she begged.

"Elle, what are you saying?!" I asked angrily, but she just smirked while the two women behind her laughed."What's happening here?" I turned to Althea, who was now beside me.I swallowed hard."Well, well... You're here too, Althea." Elle said to Thea with a smile, but it was obviously fake.Althea smiled sarcastically at her, but before she could speak, the sales lady arrived with two men in security uniforms. The two security guards immediately approached me. I felt cold."I didn't steal anything!" I quickly defended, my voice sounding so defensive, but I was telling the truth. I didn't steal anything!"Hah! Guards, look at her finger! The evidence is clear, and you're still denying it!" Elle emphasized to me.Of course, bitch! I have a ring because I'm already married!I looked at her angrily, but she just smirked at me."Bitch, can you shut the fuck up?" "Ms. Diandra, we're here," Fernand announced and got out of the car first to open the door for me.I smiled, "Thanks, Fernand," I said as I got out. We were in front of the mall entrance, so Fernand needs to go because this isn't the right place to park our car. I was the only one who insisted that he drop me off here so I wouldn't have to go around from the parking lot to get here."You're welcome, madam. I'll just wait in the parking lot. Just call me when we're going home," He said with a smile."No need, Fernand. Just go home, Althea and I might take a while. I'll just call Hades later to pick me up," I said while genuinely smiling."Are you sure, madam?" he asked to make sure.I nodded, "Yes. Go on, Fernand. Thea might be waiting for me. Drive safely!" I said with a smile and walked into the mall.I checked my phone to see Thea's message so I could find out where she was. She's at the Hermes Boutique on the second floor, so I took an elevator to go there."Diandra! "Yaya, please clean our room upstairs," I instructed the maid who was entering the mansion, seemingly just finished watering the plants in the garden. If I'm not mistaken, she's the attitude-laden helper who snapped at me the night Fernand disappeared. When she turned her gaze to me, she raised an eyebrow.I was sitting on the long sofa in our living room, watching my favorite show while eating lasagna. She entered my house directly, as if she hadn't heard me. There were no other maids in the living room, so it must be her I was talking to.My brows furrowed. I grabbed the TV remote and turned it off; the volume wasn't loud, but maybe our maid was deaf and didn't hear me."Hey, Yaya. Didn't you hear me?" I asked. There, she paused. She turned to face me. Irritation was evident on her face, but I could see her trying to control herself.I put the plate of lasagna on my lap down on the glass table, then stood up and walked towards our maid. I stopped in front of her and smiled."I said

The manager let go of me because of Hades' sudden arrival. I took that chance to pull the cashier's hair again; she hadn't recovered yet, so she couldn't move. She shrieked in surprise and pain. I wasn't satisfied. Her voice was grating, making me even more furious and irritated."You, bitch! I'll take your hair off out of your head!" I yelled fiercely, but I would have attacked again if Hades hadn't pulled me to his side and carefully lifted me slightly. Hades took my hand and removed it from the cashier's hair before gently setting me down behind him.I glared at him angrily. But he didn't see it because he was facing the cashier and the manager. He was actually siding with that woman?!"S-sir, she's causing a commotion... W-we were just trying to stop her..." the manager said fearfully and stammeringly.Causing a commotion? Fuck you, bitch!"I'm s-sorry, sir. W-we didn't know that she's your wife—" the manager stammered again and tried to touch my husband's hand, but before she cou

I rolled my eyes at him. He was sitting on a chair in the boutique, waiting for me. Holding the dress I had chosen, I angrily faced him. I crossed my arms over my chest."This is my clothes. I choose what I want! If you're not going to pay for it, then don't! I have money!" I yelled angrily at him when my patience ran out.Yes, I have money! Money that also came from him.Humph, duh!He was slightly surprised by my raised voice, but he didn't show it. His face remained serious, but I couldn't miss the movement of his Adam's apple. Before he could speak, I rolled my eyes at him and turned away to go back to choosing clothes. In my irritation with him, I just grabbed whatever I could find; I didn't even approach him to ask if he approved! I slammed them onto the counter. He could deal with it; he's irritating! It was good that we were the only customers because when we entered the boutique, Hades called and paid the manager so we could have the boutique to ourselves and I could choose p
