Edward’s P.O.V

“No, there is no way this is happening!” I dropped the letter and tried to catch my breath.

“No… no… no…no!” I kept on repeating the word as I shook my head.

“She knows… she knows everything…” I murmured from underneath my breath. I shook my head in disbelief while wiping my chin.

“How did she find out?” I asked myself frantically.

“How the hell did she find out about it!?” My blood was boiling with anger and anxiety. I ended up grabbing one of the beside lamp and threw it to the ground.

“She can’t leave me! She can’t take the baby away from me! I will not allow her to divorce me! Never” I yelled.

I saw the bedside lamp shattering on the ground and my breath was growing heavy. I quickly ran out from the bedroom and headed to the living room where Darren was already waiting.

“Sir, you look pale.” He murmured with concern.

“Darren, drive me to her friend’s house. Also, get someone to check all the flights booking on the airport tonight, see if her name’s in any of the flight.” I ordered.

“Yes sir, right away.” Before long, both me and Darren were already on our way to Sienna’s house. Fortunately, Agata once asked Darren to drive her there, so he still remembered exactly where it was.

When we arrived there, I left the car and rang the bell multiple times. However, no one appeared to be home.

“You are sure this is her house?” I asked Darren to make sure, feeling the anxiety worsening.

“Sir, I’ve never forgotten any location I’ve visited. This is indeed her house.” Darren explained, trying to remain calm. I saw a trash can and kicked it hard until it fell on the ground.

“Shit! Where the hell is Agata!?” I cursed.

“Sir, I just received the news from the airport. There is a passenger with her name and she’s flying to London. But the plane just left the airport half an hour ago.” He explained.

“London!? Dammit, she is really trying to escape me!” I ran a finger through my hair.

“Darren, book the flight to London and drive me to the airport tonight. I’m going to get her and my son back!”

Agata’s P.O.V

Sienna’s car stopped in front of the bus stop. I walked out of the car and Sienna helped pulled down my suitcase from the trunk.

“You are so clever, Agata. Buying a fake flight ticket was such a crazy move.” Sienna praised me as she handed over the suitcase to me.

“Yeah, I knew after Darren saw me, there’s a chance Edward would come back home tonight and check the airport, he’s that kind of person.” I told her.

“While he’s flying to London, you’ll be on your way to New York. Smart.” She praised me once again before her face turned a bit teary.

“When will I get to see you again?” Sienna asked me as her eyes were turning glassy.

“I don’t know, Sienna. I need to lay low for a while as I rebuild my life from scratch. They may track my new number through your phone, so we can’t communicate for a while.” I reasoned.

“Well, if you ever need me, you know my number. Contact me anytime.” She told me.

“I will, Sienna. You’re the best friend any woman can ask for. I’m so lucky to know you.” I said before hugging her. We ended up hugging each other for longer than we normally did and I could hear Sienna’s sobbing.

The bus was coming from afar and I removed the hug.

“I guess it’s time for me to go.” I told her.

“Take care of yourself, Agata. I am sure we will meet again one day.” I nodded and then pulled up my suitcase onto the bus.

As I sat down and looked out to the window and saw the glamorous street slowly turning into sight of slum areas, I realized that my life was truly changing overnight. I no longer had anyone I could rely on.

From that point on, there was only me and my baby.

In the morning, I finally arrived in New York and the first thing I did was searching for an apartment. I couldn’t stay on the street forever. I needed to find a safe place for me and my unborn son.

After searching for hours under the scorching heat, I finally stumbled across an apartment room in the Brooklyn area that was suitable for my budget and safe enough for me to stay in.

The landlord was a really kind older woman named Belinda. When she saw me pregnant and alone, she gave me a discount on the room.

Once I gave her the cash, she handed me the key and helped me put my suitcase inside the apartment. It was a small one-bedroom apartment.

Compared to the mansion I lived in before, it looked almost pathetic. However, this place was much better for me compared to staying with Edward.

“Thank you so much, Belinda.” I thanked the old woman.

“You poor darling, you look like you have been through a lot. I remember when I lost my husband and became a widow. It was hard.” She looked at me in pity.

“Take your time settling in. If you need any help, you can call my son. He stays in the same floor.” She said as she wrote down her son’s number on a piece of paper and handed it over to me.

“His name is William. He’s a good man, I am sure he’ll be happy to help you.” She assured me.

“Don’t be too stressed, it is not good for your child.” She reminded me.

“I’ll take it to mind.”

When I was finally alone, the first thing I did was taking shower. I felt incredibly greasy from all those long trips.

It has been quite exhausting. I haven’t had the time to take proper meal either. It’s been so exhausting.

Fortunately, I had some money with me, otherwise, I wouldn’t know what my life would turn out like. It is true, money is the only thing that protects women in this world.

As I ate my dinner alone, I caressed my belly.

“Mommy’s sorry you have to go through this. But don’t worry, baby. Mommy will take good care of you and we will live a good life, okay?”

Suddenly, there was a knocking sound on the door. My heart almost jumped out of my chest. I did not call anyone or order anything. Why would someone be knocking on my door.

Who could it be? Could it be Edward or one of his men?

I was feeling so paranoid. If he actually found me, then everything I had done would go to waste.

I slowly walked toward the door, but before that, I took a pan from the kitchen to protect myself in case I needed it.

The knocking continued. With a beating heart, I opened the door franctically and raised my pan, ready to swing it.

“Leave me alone!”

That’s why he didn’t recognized me.“Why don’t you wait a moment here and I’ll call him.” The security guard stated before grabbing the phone and called Edward.A few moments later, his facial expression changed and he nodded his head.“I understand.” Once the call wa

Her fingers roamed through the pages of a wedding venue magazine.I sat next to her, feeling a certain void in my chest as I saw those wedding images.“Which one do you think looks better, this sky hall or the outdoor garden?” She asked me as she shoved the magazine next to me. I hesitantly turned my gaze on her and then to the magazine.“The sky hall looks better.” I replied briefly. Veronica must have picked up how unenthusiastic I was and a frown appeared on her face.“Edward! Why do you seem so disinterested? We’re planning our dream wedding! You should be more enthusiastic!” She slammed the book on the table.“I’m sorry, Veronica, it’s just, I have a lot on my mind right now.” I told her.“What? Is it a

Do you really think I wouldn’t come on your special event?” He asked me with a teasing smile.“Gosh, and here I thought you were the honest type.” I teased him back.“Elias is waiting for you backstage.”Both of us were heading backstage and when the door opened, a cheery voice was heard.“Mama!” His little figure excitedly ran toward me. It was not Edward nor any of his man.It was a complete stranger. A man who looked like he was in his late twenties, blonde hair, blue eyes and a pale skin that looked almost translucent. After realizing he was not related to Edward whatsoever, I gasped in embarrassment.“Oh my God, I’m so sorry, I thought you were someone else.” I apologized and he gently released my hand.“It’s fine, it’s not the first time I almost got hit by a woman.” He joked before reaching out his hand.“I’m William, I’m Belinda’s son who lives at the end of the floor, near the elevator over there.” He explained.“Oh, you’re her son. I’m Agata, the new tenant here.” I shook his hand, still feeling slightly guilty over what happened.“Yes, I know. My mom called me earlier and asked me to check in on you. She said there’s a pregn

Edward’s P.O.V“Gosh, you are so hot, Edward.” Veronica was sitting on top of me and caressed her hand on my bare chest.“Not as hot as you, my love.” I replied to her before we locked in for a passionate kiss. Her lips was so sweet, just as I remembered it.“I miss you so much, Veronica. Finally, it’s just the two of us, like the good old days.” Instead of replying, Veronica suddenly bit me on the chest. I let out a small pained groan and asked her what it was for.“I need to get rid of all traces of that woman from you.” She replied possessively.“How many times have you f*cked her with this body?” She asked again before biting me on the neck. I let out the same pained groan, but this time, I grabbed her face carefully and made her look at me before smirking teasingly.“You’re even sexier when you are jealous like this. Don’t worry about anyone else, I am entirely yours tonight.” I reminded her before kissing her again. Our kiss grew more passionate. I grabbed her hand and pinned he
