Samantha’s POV

Cervantes told me to keep the necklace safe, but I let go of my guard and focused when Omega Zelensky told me it was glowing. I didn’t know what it meant. I took it off my neck so it wouldn’t draw any attention to myself.

I saw Alpha Herveaux arrive with Tala and Dante from afar. "Alpha Draglun would soon be here," Omega Zelensky said.

Dante happened to be the one, not even Tala; I could see Alpha Herveaux display his usual arrogance from afar. "He is so full of himself," I uttered loudly. Alpha Draglun smiled in response as he approached us. He had to stay in the spot meant for the Alphas, but he let them know that he was around. "Don’t take your eyes off her," he said once more before he left.

The moon goddess appeared; she was the niftiest wolf I have ever seen. Het white, startling fur that shinned as she stood before us all. "If I ever get a wolf, it has to be like this one," I said to myself.
