Samantha’s POV

I was gently awakened by the aromas of vanilla cookies, rose mint soap, and lemon tea. When it opened, Brenda was the first person I looked at. She was directly in front of me when I saw her.

My bath was being prepared by Brenda. That explains the scent of rose-mint soap that I was noticing, I said.

The hot cookies' clear steam was so obvious as it rose. I suppose the wolf's power also blessed me with a clearer vision.

"Good morning, Luna; your bath is ready," she said as I jumped out of bed.

I thought back right away to last night, when I had a bad fall and sprained my ankle. There were no aches or pains, not even a surface scratch.

"Are things all right?" Brenda questioned me lowly. She looked disgusted, and I could tell. I absentmindedly sat down on the ground and looked at my feet. "Oh, yes," I said politely.
