Last night, Michelle came to William without Laura’s knowledge. Wearing a revealing outfit, Michelle tried to seduce the drunk William. Unfortunately for her, William was reluctant, even asking her to stay away.

“Stay away from me, Michelle. You’re just like that bitch!” William said, half-conscious yet still able to control himself.

“I’m not like Laura, Will. Why are you treating me like this? I came to you out of concern. Look—because of that ignorant little sister of mine, you ended up drunk like this.”

William let out a bitter laugh. He stood from his seat and looked at Michelle with a sharp, intimidating gaze.

“Laura is your little sister. I wonder why you, and even your parents, don’t like her. She’s different from you—maybe you’re not even siblings. Who knows?”

It was a thought William had carried for a long time, ever since he started dating Michelle. He had noticed how differently her parents treated their daughters, but at the time he had chosen not to question it. Now, drunk and weary, the thought resurfaced—especially after hearing Michelle’s constant disdain for Laura.

“I won’t divorce her. I’ll keep her tied to this marriage! You’re out of place here,” William said with a twisted smile, arms spread wide as if mocking Michelle’s desperation.

Michelle clenched her fists, unable to accept his words. “You’re drunk, William!”

But William didn’t care. He walked away from her, entered his room, lay down, and closed his eyes.

“Things won’t go the way you want, William. You must be mine! Laura must leave immediately. You will divorce her—I want you to be mine!” Michelle muttered through clenched teeth.

The next morning, William woke with a heavy head. He dragged himself to the bathroom, washed up, and when he returned, he froze. Michelle was still in his room, wearing revealing clothes.

“Why the surprise? I slept with you last night,” Michelle said slyly as she approached him, caressing his broad chest.

“I’m sad you’ve forgotten our love, Will. Meanwhile, I’ve always thought of you.”

William brushed her hand away. “Two years is not a short time. Feelings can change.”

“So it’s true—you don’t love me, you love Laura instead? She’s worse than me! Why won’t you come back to me?!”

“Whether she’s good or bad is my judgment, not yours, Michelle. Stop meddling in my relationship with Laura,” William snapped, irritated by her constant provocations.

He quickly dressed in his office shirt. He didn’t want to spend another second with Michelle. What mattered now was finding out the truth—who the man with Laura was, and whether she was truly pregnant.

For the first time in days, William began to think clearly. A part of him still wanted to trust Laura. Maybe someone was trying to tear them apart. Everything had felt too coincidental since Michelle’s return.

William hurried to the company. But before stepping out, his gaze lingered on Laura’s closed bedroom door. Little did he know, Laura had already left that morning.

“You’ll never find her again, William,” Michelle whispered to herself, watching him from a distance.

At the office, William couldn’t focus. His mind was tangled with thoughts of Laura—her pregnancy, the supposed betrayal.

His secretary entered, asking for a signature. Distracted, William signed without reading, making the secretary smirk. She handed the signed document to a woman waiting outside.

“Good job,” the woman said, passing the secretary a thick envelope.

Meanwhile, William slammed his desk after receiving a shocking call.

“WHAT! Laura left?” He hung up, stunned, furious at the person assigned to watch her.

“You bitch! Where did you go? Do you really want to leave me? Who’s the man you’re with? Is he better than me?!”

Despite everything, William was unwilling to let Laura go—even though, in his anger, he had once told her to leave.

Elsewhere, Michelle met with a man, giving him a sealed envelope. She recalled Laura’s words—that perhaps the child she carried was William’s.

“I have another task for you. She’s my sister, and she’s pregnant. I want you to make her lose the baby,” Michelle ordered coldly, handing him a photo.

“Your sister?” The man in the hat smirked, amused. “It’s rare for someone to want harm done to their own blood.”

“Just do what I say. If necessary, take her life!” Michelle hissed.
