"He said he is your lawyer."

The lady added with confusion in her tone and expression.

Before the whole situation escalated as quickly as it could, I immediately spoke up to defend myself and my actions.

"I am her friend and I only lied to be her lawyer cause you would not let me see her, I was worried she had been detained for the wrong reason."

"I do not need to tell you that lying in the station is a punishable offense."

The old lady was like a thorn, her words always seemed to ignite trouble which was exactly what I was trying to avoid.
