Chapter 13: Attack

Inside, ‘that person’ was still wheezing and growling.

“Open the door.”

Hearing this, both Berk Hill and the guard panicked:

“But my lord Duke, it is too dangerous to do so. He is in the process of transformation. If he can open the door, he will definitely come out and hurt you. We will be in danger.”

Marcus didn't heed that warning like a mosquito.

The Captain voiced his disapproval:

“My lord Duke, it’s too dangerous. Or...let me order more guards to come here. Even if he does make a move, we can still guarantee your safety.”

Marcus said coldly. He glanced at Berk, making him shiver:

“Don't let me say it a second time. Then the first thing you should be afraid of won't be him.”

Berk bowed his head, motioning for the guard to quickly open the door. The soldier trembled near the door. After putting the key in the lock, he was once again weakened by the strong breathing inside. Unable to stand, he sat down on the ground. But when he looked up, he saw the Duke's cold blue eyes, as if he
