Rachel’s POV

My world shattered, my legs trembling and for a moment, I felt like I would collapse.

Rage flaring up through my veins, I staggered forward, pushing through the crowd.

Aaron’s voice echoed in my ears, still carrying the weight of his cruel betrayal.

“To the Luna and our son.”

I reached them, my vision blurring with tears, The moment I stopped in front of them, Davina turned to me, anger and disdain in her eyes.

Aaron turned his gaze toward me, his face unreadable. Davina’s lips curled into a mischievous smirk.

“What is this?” I snapped, my fists clenched tightly besides me. “What are you doing?”

Aaron’s eyes turned cold as he stared at me. “What does it look like, Rachel?”

The disdain in his tone made my fists tightened the more. “You told me—” My breath hitched. “You told me I was your Luna. And,” I gestured at the child in Davina’s arms. “My child was the only thing stopping you from announcing me as your Luna.”

Aaron scoffed. “You?” His chuckle was laced with cruel mockery. “Why will I marry a complete nobody?"

“I gave you everything!” I shouted, my voice filled with tears.  “I sacrificed everything for you. I fought for you when the elders wanted to kick you out. I risked my life for you! And now—” I swallowed the lump in my throat, “—you stand here and act like I was nothing?”

Aaron sighed as if I was nothing more than a disturbance. “Rachel, stop embarrassing yourself.”

Before I could respond to him, my mother rushed to me, slapping me hard across the face.

Her eyes filled with disgust. “Stop this nonsense right now, Rachel,” she spat. “Stop spreading lies.”

I stared at her in disbelief.

Yes, she was also in this, I would be surprised if she wasn't.

“Lies?” I scoffed. “Yes,” I muttered, nodding my head. “You are in this too, you have never treated me as a daughter in the first.”

My father stepped beside her, shaking his head. “You’ve always been a troublemaker. Always throwing tantrums, stop ruining things.”

My heart pounded. “I’m ruining things?” My hands trembled, anger clawing its way out. “Davina has my child! She took what was mine, and you all stand here, letting this happen?”

The crowd murmured, uncertainty flickering through their faces.

Aaron’s jaw tightened. “Your child?” He laughed, shaking his head. “Since when have you been pregnant?”

My jaws dropped open unable to respond.

It was clearly my fault, Aaron insisted that I remain indoors still I had the child, I thought he was just been too overprotective but now I know he just wanted to hide it.

“Davina is my mate,” he said, stepping closer to me.  “Everyone knows that she was pregnant.” He smirked.

Pregnant? Since when was Davina pregnant?

“This is a lie,” I shouted, rushing to attack Davina but the guards stepped forward dragging me away.

They pushed me outside the ballroom and slammed the door on my face. I banged hard on the door but no one responded.

Suddenly the door opened and Aaron and Davina walked out, trailing behind them was my parents.

My Dad stared at me with disgust, he dragged me to a corner, out of preying eyes or ears.

He slapped me hard across the face, the force pushing me to the floor.

“Do you want to destroy your sister?” He spat.

“I want the truth,” I spat back, my breath heavy as I smoldered at them with resentment.

“The truth?” Aaron scoffed. “You were a nobody, just a convenient.”

Convenient.

I swallowed hard, standing up, tears flowing down freely. “How could you do this to me?”

Davina stepped closer, her arms cradling my son like he belonged to her. “You should be grateful,” she said.  “You got to carry the heir of the strongest Alpha.”

I turned to Aaron, desperate for some glimpse of the man I had loved. “Did you ever love me?” My voice cracked, filled with pain. “Even for a moment?”

Aaron’s expression didn’t waver. “You were a nobody, Rachel, I never loved you, you were just a surrogate.”

The words crushed whatever was left of my heart.

My mother sneered. “She is his mate. You were nothing more than a borrowed womb.”

Borrowed womb.

I stared at her, shaking my head in disbelief. “I'm your daughter too, how can you be so cruel?” I shouted at my parents.

“You were never my daughter,” my father spat.

“Don’t make this harder than it needs to be, Rachel,” she said sweetly.

Rage unlike anything I had ever known consumed me. I lunged at her, my hands reaching for my son, but Aaron caught me first, shoving me back with force.

“Enough!” he barked. “You don’t belong here.”

He turned toward the guards. “Take her out of here.”

Two guards stepped forward, gripping my arms before I could react.

“No—” I struggled, but they were too strong.

Aaron looked at me like I was dirt beneath his shoe. “Enough of this pathetic display.”

I fought harder, my nails digging into their skin. “You will regret this, Aaron!, I promise you, I won't let you get away with it.”

Aaron smirked, turning to the guards. “Beat her to death if you have to,” he commanded, placing his hand across Davina's shoulders, guiding her back to the hall. My parents followed.

Before I could react, they pushed me down and started beating me up, heavy blows hitting my face and stomach.

Then, they lifted me.

I was barely conscious when they dragged me toward the balcony.

The realization hit me too late.

“No—” I gasped, struggling weakly. “No, please—”

They laughed wickedly and immediately, they threw me over.

The world blurred, the wind howling in my ears. I was falling down the ten stories building, I closed my eyes waiting for the end.

But instead of the hard ground, I felt strong arms caught me, cradling me as if I weighed nothing.

I gasped, my eyes fluttering open.

And then, I saw him.

The most breathtaking man I had ever seen.

His piercing eyes locked onto mine, his touch igniting something deep inside me.

My wolf flared up and the words escaped my mouth before I could stop them.

"Mate."

Author’s POVJoana sat at the far end of the grand hall, her eyes locked onto Rachel. Valtor stood close to her, his arm wrapped around her waist as if shielding her from the world. The sight made Joana’s hands tighten around her wine glass, her nails pressing so hard against the glass that she almost broke it."You’re doing it again," Cynthia’s voice snapped Joana out of her thoughts. She took a seat beside her, lazily swirling her wine. "Staring at Rachel like you want to set her on fire." Cynthia’s eyes roamed around the room. "You should be paying attention to the Alphas here tonight. So many powerful men, and yet you only have eyes for one."Joana ignored her, watching Valtor walk away with Ryan. “What are you even doing here? I thought you don't like attending such parties,” Cynthia asked, taking a sip of her wine. “I don't,” Joana replied coldly, turning to her. “I'm here for Ryan.”Cynthia nodded. “Ryan is indeed a bright boy, when he came to invite me, I was hesitant but a

Rachel’s POVSharon pulled on the laces of my dress as tightly as she could while Ashely fastened a silver necklace around my neck. I looked at myself in the mirror. The black gown hugged my body perfectly. It was sleeveless with a low neckline that made me feel both beautiful and exposed. My hair was in soft waves, and my lips were painted red.Ashley, standing on her tiptoes, clapped her tiny hands. “You look so pretty, mummy, like a princess.”Sharon smiled. “You look like a real Luna.”I forced a smile, trying to hide the tension building in my chest. My mind was still on Allen. It has been two days now and I still couldn’t believe that Allen was the beast, how could he be the beast? The same creature that had chased me through the mansion and nearly killed me in the woods. Something just doesn't add up. It would have made sense because Allen tried to kill Rachel once and that beast also wanted to kill me, so definitely it should make sense that they are the same person but Val

Valtor's POV The morning sunlight seeped through the curtains, casting soft golden streaks across the polished wooden floor. The maids moved around, bowing their heads in respect as I passed by.I inhaled deeply, trying to swallow my anger. As usual, Andy always somehow convinces Ashley to want something and Ashley on the other hand becomes a persistent person after he mind is set on something. I had a routine that I can never break even if someone was dying that was having my morning walks around the mansion but that changed after Ashley came into my life. It's always one excuse or another, and this time, it was about Rachel. I reached Rachel’s door and knocked lightly. “Rachel, wake up.”A few seconds passed before I heard slow, shuffling footsteps. The door creaked open, revealing Rachel in an oversized T-shirt and pajama shorts. Her hair was tangled, and she rubbed her eyes sluggishly.“What is it?” she mumbled, her voice thick with sleep.I inhaled deeply, tucking my hands i

  • I'm more than a surrogate Luna    The beast true face

Rachel’s POVI froze, locking eyes with the beast in my front. My hands went to my mouth before I could scream as I stumbled backward, my body shaking in fear. This wasn’t a dream, like I had hoped, this wasn’t just my mind playing tricks on me, it was real. The beast wasn't just an image in the mirror, it was as real as this earth's existence. "Run."That single word sent shivers down my spine before I even had time to think, my legs moved on their own, and I turned, sprinting toward the door. I struggled with the door knob for a while, when it finally opened I flung the door open without even turning back. The beast growled loudly, a deep, terrifying sound that made the hair on my arms stand up.I rushed out to the hallway, glancing around but there was no sign of anyone. I just had to keep running and hope that I bum into a sentinel. The hallway was dimly lit but I could still manage my way, running as fast as I could. My chest ached from how fast I was breathing."Help!" I

Rachel's POV A dull ache throbbed in my head as I slowly opened my eyes, rubbing my blurry eyes, the ceiling coming into view. This was definitely my room, how long have I been out? Before I could process what was happening, someone shouted. "Rachel, you idiot!" I flinched as Sharon’s voice filled the room, I slowly turned to her direction, she was standing beside the bed, her brows furrowed in concern and frustration. "How could you be so careless?" she demanded, leaning closer. "What were you thinking about losing guard when you were with Joana?" My eyes fell to the bed as I tried to remember what happened. Why the hell did I pass out? “What happened out there?” Sharon asked, her face etched with a mixture of curiosity and concern. I swallowed hard, my hand went to my throat, trying to clear my throat. "I… I don’t know," I admitted weakly. "One moment, she was talking, and the next, everything just went black." Sharon sighed, running a hand through her hair. "That

Valtor's pov. Rachel lay peacefully on the bed, her breath steady, I sat beside her, my hands curled into fists. How could she be so stupid to follow the one person I warned her against? What was she thinking? Why does she keep doing this too? I can't even step out of the house for a second without thinking of a million ways she could get herself in trouble. I rubbed my temples, taking in deep breaths as I stared at her tiny innocent face,I reached forward brushing a strain of hair from her face, my fingers tracing her face if they got to her lips. I didn't realize my lips were already spread as I caressed her lips, feeling the smoothness, trying to resist tasting every inch of her lips. The door creaked open, I gripped the bed sheets tightly, as my chest welled up in anger. I slowly turned to her, smoldering at her with the corner of my eyes. “Valtor,” she called, walking closer.Half of me wanted to rip Joana apart the second she walked into this room. I forced myself to take
