Dreams and nightmares

I was running up the stairs, my body weak and tired. I almost made it up the stairs, but his old hand grabbed my ankle and pulled my feet out underneath me and I fell head first into the the staircase. I was overcome with dizziness and didn't even realise when I was turn on my back. I was then pulled by my hair into his room., he kicked me up and tossed me onto the bed.
