Vito’s POV

Three days with Levi and I had come to a clear conclusion: the guy was completely harmless.

A walking, talking cinnamon roll with zero survival instincts and an alarming amount of trust in strangers who showed up bleeding on his doorstep.

I still wasn’t letting my guard down.

My side still hurt like hell every time I moved too fast, but the fever had broken and I could walk without seeing black spots. Levi had given me the couch, clean bandages, and more takeout than any one person

  • I'm not yours, Vito.   Stalkers.

Vito’s POVFirst, we had actually been kidnapped. I still couldn’t wrap my head around it happened or how they manage to kidnap us—Sebastian, second-in-command to a mafia heir, taken right under his own nose.Second, I was pretty sure we’d been taken by sex traffickers.Third, we weren’t the only ones. They separated us into groups. In this room it was just the two of us. That was after Sebastian tried to kill one of the other captives and a guard. He’d managed to open the guard up pretty badly before they knocked us both out again. When we woke up, we were half-naked. Anything that could have been used as a weapon was gone. Belts, shoes, the thin chain Sebastian usually wore around his neck—stripped. My jacket was gone. So were the knives I had stashed. The concrete was cold against my bare back. The only light came from a high, narrow vent that barely cut through the dark.Maybe I’m missing something but what part of us makes them think we could be good enough for them to kidnap us

  • I'm not yours, Vito.   Dark memories

Sebastian pov. The first thing I noticed was how cold it was. My whole body was shivering. I forced my eyes open to see I was laying on the fucking ground and staring at the ceiling… what the fuck? How did I get here?Forcing the grogginess away, I forced myself up into a sitting position and looked around the room, an extremely small room. My breath hitched as a wave of dizziness hit me again. I don’t like small places. It was a very tiny room, maybe forty-six square feet at most. The walls were an odd mix of man-made and natural, as if it was a room that was built in a cave. The stupid small window in the room was so high up and covered with thick layers of dust, it was barely spilling lights into where I was. My chest tightened as I kept exhaling. I can’t fucking breath. How did…yeah, the club. I rubbed my eyes in pure frustration as I tried to slow down my breath and the way my chest kept tightening. Think of a good memory. Think of Lorenzo. Don’t think about the past. I stoo

  • I'm not yours, Vito.   Kidnapped

Vito POV. I can’t tell who moved first but the next thing I knew after calling him a coward was punches raining down on me. The fucker didn’t even give me time to get my hands up.I hit the wall, then the floor, the fluorescent lights swinging overhead every time his knuckles found my jaw, my ribs, the same place on my skull that was already bruised from the alley.I laughed once—short, breathless, mostly blood—and tried to catch his wrist. He twisted free and hit me again.Another punch catches me across the mouth. I taste fresh blood and spit it to the side, still half-laughing under the next blow. My back scrapes against the concrete as I try to get a knee up between us. He knocks it aside and drives his forearm into my throat, pinning me harder to the floor.“Alright,” I rasped, still smiling even as the taste of iron filled my mouth. “There he is.” By the time I finally got enough leverage to reverse us, we were both breathing hard. I pinned him to the concrete floor of the corr

  • I'm not yours, Vito.   A coward

Sebastian’s POVVito is pissing me off.I still don’t understand how someone can take the kind of treatment I give him and keep crawling back for more. I ignore him, insult him, drug him, steal from him and somehow he always finds his way into the same room as me again.I grip the glass in my hand tighter, staring at him across the floor of the club. Our club. The sex club. For reasons I refuse to examine too closely, the sight of him here is both disturbing and impossible to look away from. He must have done something to my head, because I’ve been watching him for thirty minutes straight and I still can’t force my eyes somewhere else. There’s no point denying he’s attractive. Everyone else in the room has already noticed. Half the floor is glancing his way. Even the girls keep inventing reasons to walk past him, pretending to stumble just so they can brush against his shoulder.I don’t think he’s seen me yet. He’s watching the stage, eyes fixed on the men and women performing under t

  • I'm not yours, Vito.   Aiden

Vito’s POV“I’m starting to think you're bad luck for the club”. Levi said, handing me an ice bag.“What the fuck?” I frown, collecting it from him and pressing it against the hard bump on my head where I had a bump from hitting my head against whatever it was after Sebastian drugged me. Must have been a rock.“They always run into some kind of trouble when you’re on duty”. I rolled my eyes. After getting knocked unconscious, the best place to go to was Levi’s, if I had gone home. Father was going to scream himself hoarse if I came home empty-handed. I really should have kept business and pleasure separate. If I had, that dickhead never would have gotten the drop on me.Fuck me.A slow smile still tugged at my mouth when I thought about the look in Sebastian’s eyes. He would do anything for that precious brother of his—even use his own body as bait. How fucking foolish. He could have killed me. He loved threatening it often enough. He could have finished the job while I was unconsci

Neither of them looked convinced. The one with the ruined knee was already favoring the other leg, knife shaking in his grip. The last man kept glancing between me and the briefcase like he still thought he could reach it before I reached him.The one with the ruined knee tried to circle left, limping, trying to put the briefcase between us. The other stayed in front, knife held too high.I moved first.I closed the distance on the standing one before he could decide what to do. His blade came down in a messy arc. I caught his wrist, twisted, and drove my knife in clean. He dropped without much sound. I shoved him aside. That left the limping one.He had just reached the briefcase when I stepped on the lid, pinning his hand. He swung wildly with the free arm. The tip of his knife only grazed my sleeve.I looked down at him.“You should have taken the easy option.”I put more weight on the case until his grip broke, then finished it quickly. He collapsed against the side of the briefca
