Chapter twenty one

Nathania’s POV

“Where on earth were you two?” Teresa bellowed as soon as she and Xavier stepped into the house.

“I went out, he followed,” she heard Xavier say and her eyes went to him sharply but he didn’t even gift her a glance as he went up the stairs, ignoring Teresa and the rest of their classmate.

Teresa didn’t seem fazed about that and just turned her anger to Nathania, like she was expecting Xavier to act just like that. “Couldn’t you at least tell me you were going out? Do you have any idea how worried I was and none of you even left with your phone.”

“I’m sorry, babe,” Nathania smiled and went up to her, putting her arms around her and wrapping her in her arms before placing a kiss on her forehead, “it won’t happen again.”

“It better,” Teresa said. And she chuckled above her head, kissing her softly on the head and closing her eyes, thinking about when Xavier was just that close to her and shivering softly, remembering the feeling of his hot breath on her neck.
