When I wake up, he isn't in the entire room. I put the step on the mattress and walk across the floor. I knock on the washroom's door. When I don't get any reply, I turn the knob and the washroom is also empty. He's gone.
The door creaks open behind me. I turn and look up, " Good morning," Sippy smiles.
