MasukHeyyy everyone!!! Sorry for the late update. I got sick again and was out for a bit. I should be able to upload for the next few days. Thanks again for reading and waiting for me. I'd y'all got any packs on how NOT to get sick, LMK!! Leave comments, please. Let me read y'alls thoughts (lol)
Heather's POV: Prince Cersai gave me the go-ahead to head to the royal pack. When I arrived, I was met at the entrance of the mansion-like packhouse. A large, burley man stood atop the steps. He had beautiful brown skin, full beard, stern yet kind brown eyes and a shiny bald head. Handsome. I stepped out the car and felt his power roll down the stairs. My eyes met his and like always, his soul was on full display for me. He has a hard exterior- most likely the quiet type. He had a strong but gentle soul. Very clear, which indicated that he has and expresses clear boundaries and morals. Good. I walked up the steps. He reached a hand out for me to shake. "You must be Heather." I nodded, accepting his gesture. "I am beta Andrew. Please follow me. His majesty will be leaving shortly, but he wants to discuss a few things with you first. We must be quick." I nodded. He escorted me inside. I've been to the royal pack only once before in my life, but the grandeur of it still amazes
Brandon's POV:Since that disaster of a conversation I had with Kwen, where Cersai and I both shoved our foot down our throats, I've been completely out of it. I've come to the conclusion that I should probably just give up. The harder I try to fix things, the worse they become. I'm not exactly sure how I was able to help raise my other two children when I'm clearly incompetent. Considering how things are with all of my children, I can't really say that I did all that well with them either. It's been about a day and half since Kwen, Kyle and Elias have gone. Kyle has kept me updated on their transport and that they've made it safely. He said she seemed happy. He even sent a picture of her and Eli putting away food, picking on each other like they've always done. Some relief came from that, but I hate the fact that in order for her to be happy she has to separate herself from here... from me.Lately, I haven't been able to sleep. Her tear streaked face plagues my dreams and I wake up
Kwen's POV:I sat on my bed and picked my phone up to check the time. It was about 4:30 in the morning. I sat the phone down and picked the book up. I crossed my legs and laid the book on my lap, gently wiping my hand across the front cover. As if the book knew I was ready to recieve what was inside, it began to glow. I took a deep breath and went to open it to the first page. As I shifted the book to open, it's as if the book had a mind of its own. The pages flipped to mid book. I sat in shock as they kept flipping, until it stopped. I cautiously rested my hands on the pages. They glowed a bright golden color. Slowly, the words went from a golden color and turned a bright red. As soon as I was about to removed my hands, I felt sucked into the pages....I was breathing heavily, my heart racing. I looked around and found myself in a forest. The sun was up but setting. Through the branches, I saw a figure peering out at me. He was large. He had amber eyes that were piercing. He had bla
Back at Blackcresent Moon Pack:It was early morning when training began. Everyone was out at the fields, stretching, getting ready for the day. Daniel, Logan, Stephen and Elijah all decided to circled up and train togather. Cersai, Royce, and James offered to spearhead the training since they were visiting. They also agreed on it because Alpha Brandon has been silent since Kwen left. Cersai felt just as hurt, but he needed a distraction. He figured this would be distraction enough. Kera, Melody, Isabell and Psyren trained together, while Angel and Miza trained together. It was going on 6am and still pretty dark outside. The training fields were packed with warriors. No one wanted to miss a training with the prince. Prince Cersai walked through, along with Royce and James, to adjust stances and give feedback, when they came upon Daniel and his group. The way they fought and moved around each other was unlike anything they've seen. Elijah stood on the side and watched as well. Cersai w
Gin's POV:I drove east towards the royal vampire territory. They were relatively close, in terms of distance, to the royal wolf territory. Luckily, they actually get along. It wasn't always that way. The previous Vampire King was a raging egotistical maniac, bent on ruining the world. Especially us wolves. His son had to take him down. That was a couple of generations ago, and things have settled to where us vampires and wolves can get along. Julian Darkwind is the current Vampire King. He took down his own father for peace, and he's also my mate's father. I had to drive about 7 hours to get to the royal vampire territory. I, of course, didn't go all the way there. That man hates my guts. I know he doesn't hate wolves, he just hates me. I pulled over and parked, pulled out my phone and dailed a number. The phone was picked up immediately Phone call:Izzy: Hello, my love.A faint smile found its way on my face.Me: Hello, my mate. How you doing?"There was a pause. I frowned. She sig
Cersai's POV:The moment she ran from me, I lost all control. I was raging. Screaming and yelling, I punched on the wall and left a whole in it. Roy and James rushed, trying to get me under control."CALM DOWN, CERSAI!! IT'S OK!!"Roy shouted, trying to break through my anger. I thrashed around more before I succumbed to my heartache, and fell to my knees with my beta and gamma still holding me. My mind was blank. What have I done?"Listen man, it's gonna be alright. Kwen just needs some time. She'll be back."James said. I heard him, but I couldn't believe any of what he said. I couldn't believe any of what I said to Kwen, either. I hurt her! I didn't mean it. I was just so scared. I saw the devastation those damn warlocks caused back at those packs that they've attacked, and all I could see was him hurting Kwen. I know and remember what she did at the mate's ball, but this time was different... he felt different. He's powerful. I know she can handle herself, but I can't let her put
Stephanie's POV:I stood in the palace halls that stretched beyond what my eyes could see. Through the floor to ceiling windows, I watched the rain fall against them. A ragged breathe left from my body as I shuddered from memories. I haven't been to this place since I've had to do the unthinkable.
I didn't know how I should feel about any of this. On one hand, I felt like my life kept unraveling, so anyone with any information that could potentially help me figure it out, was a welcome change. On the other hand, I felt like I was prying into my grandma's life without her permission. We talk
I watched as Ava and Adona walked into their home. I've always hated being here. It never fails to feel as if I'm in enemy territory. I used to believe I was paranoid with them being witches and all, and the history of our people being against witches. Now, I truly believe my body picked up on some
We were escorted inside by guards. Again, I wasn't accustomed to being greeted so professionally. Cersai and the royal family, that was left at my father's pack, were greeted with the formalities used to greet them. My father and brother, along with my grandparents were greeted with the honorifics g
