Adam

Adam was supposed to admire the autumn hillside scenery, the fresh cold breeze, and the colorful brown leaves that filled the sides of the calm lake. But how could he, not when he was suddenly kidnapped by the Ricky and Noel pair and was brought to a place—which was a campground—located far away from their homes.

Adam was actually reluctant to go with the both of them—even if his mother allowed him—because he felt like he was third wheeling a date. He expected the whole journey to the campground to be quietly suffocating, however, instead of staying still, Noel initiated conversations with him, and even handed him some freshly baked, pocket sized pumpkin pie that was still warm in his hands.

"What are you doing giving him the pie? Won't he get full before he even have the stew?"

Ricky scolded Noel.

Adam shot his friend a strange look. Since earlier, Ricky and Noel have been acting like some old married couple, judging f
