CHAPTER FOUR:

Ruby was slowly sipping her glass of wine while waiting for Julia when she suddenly saw her run out almost naked with just a towel around her chest. 

“Julia! What the hell is going on?”. Ruby asked, glancing around at the company around them, she felt relief seeing that most people around the bar were fully drunk while some were high on drugs.

Ruby grabbed her hand and dragged her to the restroom. “Julia what is wrong with you, why couldn't you put on your clothes before coming out or did you steal from him?

“What! Why would you even think that about me” Julia exclaimed, her breath rising and falling like someone had just concluded a Marathon.

“Then why did you leave like that, was the sex that bad?

“No!

“So it was good?

“Yes…. But shut up and let me speak

“Fine, then what happened?

“Ruby I am in a big mess, I just got myself into a big mess

“What happened?”. Ruby asked and she pulled over her hand away from her neck revealing the red imprinted mark. Ruby took two steps backward, her eyes popped out wide her chest panting hard.

“What the hell Julia, why would you let a man who is not your mate mark you

“I don't know how it happened, we were having wild sex, and all of a sudden, his fangs are drugged six feet into my neck

“This is a big mess… Have you heard of the curse Alpha before?

“Of course! Who hasn't, the one who murdered an entire village and as a result of that was cursed by the moon goddeever to have a mate"

“Yes, and that man you were inside with a few minutes ago is Alpha Xander the cursed one”

Ruby explained and Julia felt every ounce of strength in her being taken away as she almost collapsed but held on to the door.

“He was never to have a mate and that is why he never had sex with the same lady twice, how could you let this ha,,,,,,, Julia, don't you understand what this means?

“Everything happened so fast, there was no way that I could stop it, why didn't you tell me that he was Alpha Xander?” Julia asked as fear curled up in her stomach.

“Because you wouldn't agreed if I had told you and you needed the money

“Darm right! I wouldn't have even given it a thought if you had told me that it was the cursed one that I would be selling out my virginity to, what do I do, how do I run from someone as ruthless as him, he is going to have my head on a steak

“Did he pay you the agreed amount?

“You think that I will have time to ask him for payment, what am I going to do about the imprint?

“You don't have to worry about that, it is going to disappear before dawn, but we have to leave here right now”

Ruby swung the door open and peered through while Julia hurriedly put on her dress and they snuck out of the busy bar.

Alpha Xander sat upright on the bed covered with a white bedspread and beside him was a red stain on the bed that he could not stop staring at.

Just then, the brown wooden door swung open, and a dark-skinned lady in her early went dark-skinned.

She wore a black mini leather skirt and a strapless crop top, her caramel skin was fully occupied with thick makeup that suited her round face and thick lashes.

Her eyes drifted to the blood stain on the bed and she widened her eyes at him.

“She was a virgin?” She asked Xander who was holding a stick of cigarette and puffing out the smoke.

“So it seems

“Why didn't you stop the moment you found out, most girls like her usually preserve it for their mate and you took that away from her

“She should have thought about that before coming here, besides, she was fierce and hot

“Whatever, I had her leave in a hurry, what did you do this time?

“Something that I think I am going to regret for the rest of my life

“And what could that be?” Carmel asked as she narrowed her gaze at him.

“I imprinted her” He replied and her mouth popped wide open, and her jaw and s almost dropped.

“You did what, you made her yours…. No… No… That is impossible, there is no way that the moon goddess will let you do that

“Yeah! That is what I kept thinking, everything happened so fast, I was so drawn to her, my wolf wanted her to be ours so badly and when he marked her, I could stop him because I thought that there was a way the moon goddess was going to stop him, but she didn't

“You violated her words and broke her punishment, do you know how much disaster this is going to bring to our pack?

“We will find a way, as long as I never get to see her again, maybe all this will be over.

“I wish that it was that easy Alpha, but it isn't. Get some rest, you have a meeting with the new clients by dawn, I clients the hotel attendants to discard this”

She exclaimed, pointing at the stain on the bed before striding away.

Julia snuck up next to her sister who was fast asleep in the storeroom which was where they slept all night.

She was exhausted and feeling sore around her body and before she knew what was going on, she dozed off but was woken as soon as it was dawn by a loud splashing of water on her.

Julia immediately jerked off, shivering under the coldness of the water that was dripping from the body while Sophia slowly rubbed her bleary eyes before stretching out herself.

“You worthless girl! Where were you when the men from the pack house came to fetch you last night, did you think that you could run away?

“I am sorry Father, but I wasn't trying to run, I went out to get some treatment for my bruises

“That is good because I don't want you getting rejected over some bruises by the Alpha

“The Alpha? What is going on sister?” Sophia asked, her voice low and raspy.

“You do not have to worry about anything Sophia… 

“Your sister has been sold off to the Alpha and he paid a huge amount for her” Dominic's eyes were beaming with excitement while Sophia let her pale eyes drift to her sister.

“Is it true sister, are you leaving me here and going to the pack house?

“I am sorry Sophia, but I do not have a choice here, I promise to come back for you once I find a way

Julia was hoping to see her sister, but she lowered her droopy eyes and did not dare look at her sister, a feeling of disappointment clouded her.

Just then, the door swung open and one of the factory workers rushed in.

“The Alpha is here! Alpha Williams is here!” He announced and Dominic almost trembled.

“Why is he here by himself, I thought that he was going to send his men here, Julia get dressed as quick as possible else he might reject you and ask for a refund

Dominic ordered in panic but Julia stood still not sure how to get dressed with him standing right there.

Just then, the air around there changed, there was a strong but comforting fragrance of collagen, and a tall masculine figure stood before them whom Julia recognized immediately, and fear curled up her stomach
