CHAPTER TWO:

Ruby bit her lips hard, not sure how this was going to end up but decided to let it out either way. 

“There is a neighboring pack that is bigger than ours, they have a famous hotel called Hilton class hotel, and every night, the owner has sex with different women for each day and pays them a huge amount of money”

“You are saying that I should give out my virginity to a stranger while I haven't even met my mate?”

“I am sorry Julia, I know that it was stupid of me to suggest such to you”

“How much are we talking about here?”

“What! Are you considering it?”

“Just go ahead and speak Ruby, I am in a desperate situation, and for all we know, I might never get a chance at mate, so just go ahead and tell me what my virginity is worth"

“It is a hundred dollars

“He pays a Hundred dollars”

“A hundred dollars just for a night!!” Her eyes widened in surprise. 

“A hundred dollars is not that much money, why are you so surprised?”

“it is enough to get my sister admitted into the hospital, and that is all that matters to me”

“Very well then, I shall have you booked for the night and find you something nice to wear”

“Thank you so much, Ruby, I owe you so much”.

“That is what friends are for” she replied and squeezed her arm warmly. 

Ruby helped set her up in a dashing bodycon sheath mini dress, it was sleeveless, and backless, a summer-spring fone-shoulder that had most of her best revealed. 

Julia had never worn such an elegant dress before, it hung tightly around her curved shape and she was feeling uncomfortable in it, trying to pull down the size to her knee which was impossible because it was a sequin gown made to rest above the knee while giving a sexy and elegant figure. 

“Wow! Look at you my, who would have thought that you are this beautiful”

“Is all this necessary?”

“Have you been real here, you want to meet with the CEO of Hilton class while carrying a tag that says ‘I am an omega'”

“That won't be such a bad idea” Julia teased and Ruby rolled her eyes at her. 

“I think that something is still missing between all of this” Ruby clicks her tongue for a while staring at her with disapproval before she finally snaps her finger and strides over to her vanity. 

Ruby made her seat there and carefully styled her hair ponytail before applying light makeup, her face was radiating and her nose was sleek and pointed she had a nude lip gloss that gave her a natural look. 

She also got dressed and they both drove in her black Porsche. Julia's gaze went wild at the hotel right in front of her, it was massive, the biggest her eyes had ever come across and she did not realize that her mouth was wide open while her eyes were almost plunging to the ground. 

The hotel was a massive, imposing structure that dominated the city skyline. It was a glittering, modern building, with sparkling glass windows. 

The veneer was made up of thousands of tiny, reflective tiles that shone like diamonds in the sunlight. The massive, vaulted entranceway seemed to stretch on for miles, leading up to two massive, ornate doors. The entranceway was flanked by soaring marble columns, each of which was decorated with intricate carvings. The overall effect was grand, imposing, and awe-inspiring.

Julia slowly followed Ruby inside, her gaze drifting in every direction for fear of breaking one of the expensive furniture. 

Inside was a large hall with several disco lights, a DJ mix to warm up the place, and most especially, people dancing to the music. It was so loud that one would need to yell out their words before they could be heard. 

“What would you like to have?” Ruby asked in a loud voice. 

“I am fine, I don't think that I should drink anything, I am here for the money, and I need to keep my head in the game”

“No, you need to be a little lightheaded to let a man take away your treasure, have a seat while I get you a glass of cocktail”

“Oh! Okay,” Julia replied and took the space by a white divan, while still trying to adjust her dress that was barely covering anything. 

She could feel a deep gaze at her from the opposite direction, his gaze was so direct like he wanted her to be conscious of his presence. Julia lifted her gaze to meet his, a tight-lipped smile appeared on his face and he strode over to her, a glass of whiskey in his hand. 

The man was tall and imposing with light skin that was almost pale, his hair was neatly styled and slicked backward and he wore a casual vintage shirt and a sleek black trouser that even from afar, Julia could tell how expensive it was. 

As he walked up closer to her, she could perceive the intricate scent of his strong and yet relaxing collagen. 

“Hi dear, you must be new here?” He asked and took the seat close to her, she was sitting so close to her that she was barely comfortable, her hands fiddling with the strap of her dress while in the process, trying to cover her bare thighs. 

His gaze fell on her as bit his lower lip before speaking. “I must confess, you are astonishing”

“Thanks, but I am not interested in whatever you have to offer, I am here with someone”

“Yeah I saw the both of you walked in and I must say that you are stunning”

“I think you have made your point Sir, but you need to step away from me”

“Sure I will, but I just have one more question before I go, the lady you came in with, are you from the same pack as her?”

His question felt odd to her, but if that was what it was going to take for him to let her be, she just needed to answer the question. 

“Yes, she is my best friend and we are both from the same pack”. She replied and a wide smile appeared on his lip as he stepped away. 

Julia let her gaze dart at him as she watched him get lost in the crowd and just then, Ruby came back with two cocktails. 

“Here is it, something to lighten the mood”. Ruby handed out the drink to her and Julia, who was already feeling tense from the conversation with the stranger, immediately gulped down the entire glass of cocktail. 

“Easy girl, you seem to need the drink more than I do, are you nervous?”

“Kind of, never did I imagine that I would be losing my virginity to a stranger”

“You know that you can back out if it is too much for you”.

“Is not like I have more of a choice here, I need to do this for Sophia, that way my mind can be at rest at the pack house”

“You are the best sister in the world and I wish I was blessed with a sister like you”

“I am also your sister and you know it” Julia exclaimed and they both chuckled loudly, trying to ease the nervous tension around them. 

Julia made her way to the counter this time and ordered another cocktail, then she asked for some wine and a few more until Ruby stopped her before she got drunk, but Julia wasn't drunk and wanted more.
