CHAPTER SIX

After the with the strange girl, I haven't been able to think of anything else but her, since the curse bestowed upon me by the moon goddess, I have had to live having sex with all women I could find but it felt different with her. 

I felt special being with her, It was as if my wolf yearned for her or perhaps she was my fated mate. 

I sat at my large office, swiveling my armchair around with my thoughts drifting away when Lucas stepped in. 

“Alpha! Alpha!!” He called again realizing that I did not hear him the first time. 

“Yes Lucas, What is it?” Lucas has been my beta and best friend for as long as I can remember, the only one whom I easily shared all of my secrets to. 

“Are you still thinking about her?”

“She is just filled in my mind and sometimes I feel pain that I can't fathom, it feels like I am feeling her pain, it this what it is like to mark your mate”

“I am sorry Alpha, but I do not have such experience, even when I had a mate, I was not opportune to have marked her before I lost her to the cold hands of death, but if you are feeling this way towards her, why not search for her?”

“I do not think that is a good idea, I broke the punishment and I am not yet certain what else the moon goddess has installed for me, so I need to be calm about having a mate, it is a punishment after all, there is no way she is going to let me be after what I did”

“That is true, let hope that her punishment won't be disastrous like the last one, she almost wiped out our entire pack in her fury”

“Then we shall appease her on a full moon. Were you able to get words from Alpha Williams?”

“Yes, he has invited you for his birthday celebration coming up soon and hope that the both of you can have a peaceful dialogue”.

I click my teeth with my gaze staring blankly at the wall. “He is a cunny man and is trying to take back his territory back from me”

“Are you going to be attending the birthday party?”

“Sure, Why not”

“He might try to poison you or harm you while you are there”

“Then I would like to see him try, I will wipe out his entire pack and  the consequences' ' I groaned with a dark gaze that Lucas clearly understood. 

“Fine! I will relay the words to him that we will be attending his birthday party” Lucas exclaimed and seeing there was no word again from me, he strides out of my office. 

JULIA'S POV**** 

Life here at the pack house seems more easier or so I thought considering that it was my first here, I was served some meat and sauce and was allowed to have a nap the entire day because Emilia did not stop reminding me that I was going to be serving the Alpha tonight, how much of an honor it was and how it was my ticket to freedom from slavery. 

So I prepared myself to serve the Alpha or so I thought I was doing. By nightfall some servants came over to my room under the instructions of the Alpha to scrub me. 

I was puzzled about what it meant yet I complied because I was an omega werewolf and dare not decline. 

Slowly I stripped off my dress and soaked in a large bathtub filled with scented oil and herbs with two maidens scrubbing up my body. I felt so at ease as I shut my eyes firmly, enjoying this moment I never thought that I would ever experience in my entire life. 

It felt so good and even after the bath, they let me put on a sophisticated silk dress and I could see the envy in their eyes. The dress was pink and below my knee barely covering my cleavage, I felt uncomfortable in it because I was only going to be serving the Alpha and for me, I thought that he might see it as inappropriate, how naive of me. 

At midnight, I knocked on his door with a tray of red wine and a glass in it. 

“His deep voice came through from within. I twisted the door knob and swung the door open and before me was a large master bedroom with a special corner decorated with sophisticated couches and a glass table, at the other side was a large king size bed through the walkway leading to the bathroom and the dresser. 

There were pictures of him hung on the wall and some pieces of art. He sat on one of the couches wearing a white robe, his eyes filled with lust as it trailed around my body. 

“Good day Alpha, I brought some wine and was told to serve you properly”

“You look so pretty, I might just end up be the one serving you the entire night”

“That won't be necessary, should I pour in some wine for you?”

“Sure! I should be in the mood”.

I cocked open the bottle of wine and poured it into the glass before serving it carefully to him. 

“Come and have a seat” He patted the empty space close to him, but instead I took the couch opposite him. 

“I see you want to play hard to get, were you given a hard time when you arrived, I mean by Kate?”

“No alpha, she just brought me to order”

“You are used to the harsh life of being an omega, so I guess that you wouldn't know what it feels like to be treated special, she is furious because I came to the factory to pick you up myself”.

He gulped in the entire glass of wine, his eyes still pinned on me. “Should I pour you another glass?”

“No! Enough of the talking and drinking, I have yearned so much for you, now come over to the bed”.

His words sounded tender and yet fear immediately curled up my stomach as I realized the true purpose why I am here.
