"Nice to meet you Kai, and thank you for coming," she said genuinely as they walked back to the cemetery gates where Alan was waiting for her.

"You are welcome ma'am,"

"Oh stop, You can call me Valerie," she said pleasantly. He smiled at her before continuing with what he was saying.

"You are very kind," he said and she laughed half-heartedly.

"Many people don't think so, but I'm glad that you do,"

"Why wouldn't they? I have heard a lot about you, beautiful, sweet, and lovely. I guess they were not hearsays after all," he said, Valerie's cheeks went red from blushing very hard, and she let out a small chuckle.

"You flatter me, thank you very much," she said with a wide smile on her face.

She noticed that they had already reached the cemetery gates, and Alan already turned the car around and was watching her- jealousy evident in his expression. Their eyes met and Alan looked away from her.

"You're welcome. I hope to see more of you," he said
