CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗩,

I stared at the young lady before me without saying a word, she coughed trying to get my attention but I took my stand.

"Hi" she said while waving her palms before me.

"How can I help you?" I asked with no glimpse of smile on my face, her presence was obviously upsetting me, to think she has the guts to visit my office still surprises me.

She searched through her bag as I stared suspiciously at her, she finally brought out a perfectly wrapped cup of pills arousing my curiosity to the core.

"What's this?" I asked while staring directly at her.

"That's why I'm here, there are many doctors in town whom I can consult but my spirit lead me to you" she said while staring at the cup in her hands.

"I had an accident six years ago, it was a terrible one which cost me my memory, I'm suffering from amnesia, I can't remember anything about my past life" she said confusing me the more.
