ANDREA.
I slipped the phone back into the bushes. I have no use for it now.
I was so optimistic a few moments ago. It seemed like I had the worst luck in the world.
I wiped my tears from my face, but I couldn't stop myself from crying despite trying my best.
With a bowed head, I walked to the back of the packhouse and entered from the back door. I was thinking I would never see anyone this way until I reached the stairs, but like always, I had tough luck.
"Andrea..." Riley's concerned voice reached my ears as I tried to compose myself before tilting my head in his direction.
