Chapter 7: A Beta's Heart
ALBA.
I dropped the receiver back in the cradle and leaned my back against the soft cushion of the couch I was seated on.
It was Lucas on the other line, and he asked me if I would come over to his house, which was just across the next territory after ours. It has been our routine to meet up on the night of a full moon and do kinky stuff.
I'm a very sexual female, and I would not deny that I have always looked forward to spending the full moon with Lucas for over a year now.
Except for tonight. I told him I wasn’t in the mood and that I would rather stay home.
