Chapter 31

The vampire army had never tasted total defeat before as it did tonight at the hands of the hybrids. It was a humbling defeat to the vampire hierarchy. 

Dracula was already back home in his lair when the scattered fragments of his once large army started arriving one after the other. Some had gone home directly, following the shortest route to invade death at the hands of the hybrids.

"The hybrids have retreated, they have stopped killing", he said, relieved in his chambers.

Dracula's generals were amongst the last to arrive back at his lair. Dracula had told his guards to keep an eye out for the hybrids, just in case they trailed him back home.

So far the sign was good and Dracula had stopped hearing death cri
