The Royal Luna Prophecy

Mikki Auclair was standing in front of her brother’s office, the Royal King, trying to hear what was going on inside. She had just come back from her piano lesson, and her best friend Aleta told her that a very handsome man had walked into the palace and headed straight to the Alpha's office, and since no one seemed to know who the man was, Mikki was curious.Who could it be and why was he paying a visit to the King of Purnama City? Mikki was never really interested in the affairs of the Royal House, but every once in a while, an unexpected guest would tease her curiosity and she would bring Aleta into her plans with her, trying to solve or be involved in an inexistent situation.Since her father, the Alpha of the Royal House, died, her older brother Ace inherited the position. Mikki and her brothers knew it would happen one day, of course, but they were not ready for it to be so soon. Not even Ace, who had been trained his whole life for it. It caused a great impact on their pack, an

Max left the office from the Royal House's King with mixed emotions. It felt like ages since he had seen Mikki Auclair for the first time. The only time in fact, but since then, he never managed to get her out of his mind.A few years before, he was in the palace for a meeting with the Alpha King, Ace’s father at the time. They wanted to discuss how Max’s pack could be helpful during a strategy to stop some riots that were taking place in Purnama City. Things were getting out of control, so the King asked for help from his allies. As soon as Max got to the palace’s foyer, he saw this girl running freely and happily around the place, her long and blonde silver hair glowing and swinging on her back. She was just playing around with her older brother, Fitz, as he tried to grab something from her hands. She looked carefree, gracious, not to mention stunningly beautiful. He couldn’t stop looking at her, as he felt his heart being wrapped with some warm and strange feeling. He remembered c

Before reaching Ace’s office, Mikki was able to hear Fitz’s voice from the other end of the hallway, even with the door closed. She should’ve been used to her brothers being overprotective over her, but somehow, she felt really surprised and also loved whenever they did anything of that sort.Fitz, however, was a special case. He was really close to Mikki, and they had a very nice sibling relationship, something it was harder to get with someone much older than her, like Ace; or much younger, like Don.Ace was eleven years older than her, and Don was four years younger. Even though the distance from her and Don was the shortest, Fitz, being five years older than her, was still the closest she had. Maybe the fact that Don was still a kid in her eyes made her feel like a mother figure to him, something she wasn’t able to do with Fitz or Ace.“Don, what really happened? Why is he yelling like that?” she asked before they reached the end of the hallway.Don halted and turned to look at he

Mikki had no idea of why she behaved the way she did with Max at the rose garden a few days before, and the longer she thought about it, the more she felt embarrassed. If she didn’t want him to think she was some spoiled princess, she started on the wrong foot. She couldn’t fall for every little tease of his. He seemed to have a humorous personality, and he learned how to get on her nerves way too easily, which only made her frustrated. Why was it so hard for her to interpret his actions? The fact that he provoked her like that, without even knowing her, made her wonder so many things. Why would he do that on purpose? What did he want to get from her? Was this a way to flirt with women?Maybe she should ask some of her maids. They would definitely know a thing or two to share with her. She didn’t want to feel like an idiot every time she was around him. It wouldn’t do her self-esteem any good.“Mik? Can I come in?” Fitz’s voice came from the other side of the door. She had just finishe

Max cursed himself for several minutes straight, until he could put his head in the right place. Why did he have to be so correct at moments like this? He should not care if she was drunk, he should simply have accepted her kiss willingly. Only he knew how much he was waiting for it, craving it.“F*ck!” he murmured, rubbing his hands all over his face and hair. She got so close that he could almost feel her taste. Her scent was like a drug to him, so addicting that it actually hurt when he pulled her away from him. His body was so frustrated, he was so angry at himself that he could barely move for a few seconds. He thought about going after her, grabbing her arms and turning her towards him, claiming her lips as if that was the only moment they would ever have. But he couldn’t bring himself to do it. She was drunk, even though not that much anymore, but still, he would never forgive himself if he had kissed her, and she came to him the next day feeling completely embarrassed and reg
