Mildred was now awake but she found herself in a new surrounding, in a familiar home - the home of Alpha White.
She rolled on her side on the bed, she must have fallen into deep sleep as the time was almost midday.
She wasn't used to sleeping alone, she always had Silas to keep her company at night.
