The months flew by. Soon it was May, and I was having my twenty-week scan. I was nervous about the baby. My twelve-week scan showed no problems, and the baby was healthy. I was still nervous though. “It’s completely normal.” Lawrence assured me. He had been going home whenever he could and researching pregnancy in books he borrowed from the library.
“Lots of women are nervous when having their scans but try not to worry. Your blood pressure will rise and that won’t be good for the baby either,” he smiled. I leant over and kissed him. “I love you.” I told him. “I love you too beautiful.” He replied, kissing me softly. “Ok, are you ready to go see our baby?” he asked, holding his hand out for me to take.
