My girls beautiful face paled.
Anger quickly replaced the shock and she jumped up suddenly, knocking the chair down that she had just been occupying. She started pacing up and down the office.

“She’s missed you.” Bane tried to defend her mother.
“She missed me so much that she hasn’t spoken to me in, what, 7 years?” she cried defiantly.
