October is over. The wind was blowing even colder. The sun started shining in the sky only in the afternoon and what was worse was that he was getting married the very next day.

While taking down the old curtains of her room, she was thinking about Christian. She remembered the date of his marriage as it was printed and announced the same day, but now she did not feel like crying anymore. Maybe she had already shed so many tears that now they seemed over — overly consumed. But the thing was that she had already suffered so much that now crying over such a small thing seemed foolish to her. However, the memory of him was still stinging in her chest. She was unable to get him out of her mind, her heart, and her body. He seemed deeply dissolved in her.

“Hazel…” She turned to check the person who called her from behind. She trod to her door, putting the curtains on her bed before she reached the door and opened it.
