Sanam eagerly came inside the building. With his wife coming right behind him, his hand holding hers tightly. He asked the receptionist about Gabriella Smith and as soon as he came to know about her, he left for that place. She was in the ICU.

He came and stood right in front of the room, to peek inside.

Austin, who noticed his presence, glared at him, gritting out, “Who asked you to come here? Well, what have you come here to see? The result of your son’s misdeeds?” He could not control that anger before spitting it out.

Sanam sighed while Heer whimpered, palming her mouth.

“Will you stop blaming my son for once?” Sanam hissed, “And for your first question, Robert informed me about that!”

“What—”

“Oh no, Sanam! Just look at her!” Heer sobbed, holding his bicep. He looked down at her, finding her crying softly. Her face was tear-stained and sadness was in her eyes.

“Hey, calm down,” he cupped the side of her face, wiping away her tears. He then moved to peek inside the room, fi
