They reached the parking side and Adam climbed upon her scooty, making Hazel gasp at his audacity. Who taught him that? She wondered because she was sure she did not do it.

She hurriedly reached her scooty to hold him so he did not fall from there.

“You shouldn’t climb like that, Addy! It’s harmful!” She said, trying to face him but he had his eyes somewhere else. He did not want to look into his mother’s eyes because both of them knew her eyes were his weakness and to stay angry with her, he needed to avoid her gleamy hazel eyes.

“I’m a big boy,” he grumbled.

Hazel sighed and then brought two helmets out. She put the smaller one on his head and then fastened the belt under his chin. All the while Adam did not look at her but Hazel did not blame him. She knew why he was upset with her.

She then grabbed her helmet and then climbed the scooty. Adam swiftly held her from behind by her torso as he saw she was removing the brakes and after that, their ride began.
