“Sitting on the throne of heaven, King of kings, the most merciful Lord, my God, the only one who loves me the most, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to see this day today. Therefore, I pray to you that your name may be considered holy, your kingdom may come. Just as your wish is fulfilled in heaven, so shall it be on earth. Today, give us our whole day’s bread and not bring us to the test, but keep us safe from evil. And if I have committed any offence, by mistake or intentionally, then forgive my offences.”

Tears started flowing from her eyes as soon as she said this. Very slowly, those pearl droplets peeking out from her closed eyes come out. Her eyelashes wetted, cheeks burning through those hot tears because her morning seemed to pass like this. She did not want such a morning in which she had to cry at the beginning of the day.

“Because might, kingdom and glory are always under your control, Amen.” She sighed and opened her eyes slowly. She gulped down her lump which formed due to that sadness.

The sunlight passing through the curtains on the window, reaching her room, entered her eyes. Her eyes shone like honey added to her beauty as it only enhanced. She folded the mattress before putting it under the bed.

Wiping her tears, she then pushed the curtains ahead and walked towards the terrace side of her room. The sweet light of the scorching sun entered her eyes and on seeing this, her eyes closed automatically. The sunlight was very strong.

Coming out, she saw that the weather was clear and shining as beautiful as ever. In the blue sky, the immortal sun was shining in its radiance. Its blazing light and tremendous heat was spreading warmth throughout the atmosphere.

She raised his neck towards the sky so that she could have a look at the sun. But can one see that proud sun with open eyes? No. The same happened with her.

Her eyes formed tears as soon as she looked up, challenging the bright light. She giggled at her childishness. Uff! When will you grow up, Hazel? Her subconscious mocked her.

She rubbed her eyes gently. Those wet eyelashes tickled her skin and more water spilled out of her eyes. Once she was done with it, she sighed and looked down through the railing. She found a man flirting with the girl of this mansion—in which she lived.

He was a new customer for that woman who could pay a very good amount for her. But for Hazel, he is no less than a demon.

The name of the girl who went with him was Alisha. She was one of the graceful dancers here. Her mannerisms charm every man. Every man runs after her like a dog. She was a bold seductress and Eliseva was impressed by her. The man who came to her would have tormented for her again and again. The dream of spending a night with her bothered every man but her cost was going to make everyone cry. One night with her worthed thousand dollars and Eliseva earned a good amount through her.

She saw that the man again went after her like a dog, waving his tail. He was going to her room.

Hazel sighed. It was not new for her to see such things every morning. She lived in such a place where every moment a woman’s body was sold for the satisfaction of a man. And every time she used to pray that her turn should not come in all this.

“Hazel!” She heard a voice calling her name. That person was not only calling her name but was also knocking on her door. She went to the door and opened the door. In front stood Irene, her good friend.

She also lived with her in this luxurious mansion, along with other girls. She was three years older than Hazel and was also familiar with the work going on inside the mansion. A place which was beautiful and delightful to look at. Whose glare attracts the wandering unhappy men towards itself. And its dazzling blindness blinds the people even before they can see the sins hidden in this mansion.

“Rise and shine, Haze!” Irene chirped like always.

“Morning,” Hazel said with a smile. “What brought you here, Ire?” She asked, arching her brow and wondering why she was here in the early morning.

“Eli is calling you down. Come quickly. She has something to tell, okay?” Hazel’s smile was snatched from her mere words. What can Eliseva have to do with her in the morning?

“Haze, behave properly in front of Eli and please call her Eli, you know she gets impressed when we call her Eli.” Irene patted her shoulders, giving her an assuring smile because Hazel looked scared all of a sudden.

But no matter what happens, she did not want to use her nickname to impress her. Why would she impress that cruel lady? She brutally sells every woman. Who would want to impress such a woman? Sinful woman. It is better to stay away from her.

And Hazel has seen her cruelty. When she was brought here at the age of eight, Eliseva could not hide her cruelty due to Hazel’s disobedience. She was not ready to live in this brothel but Eliseva’s punishments and passing time taught her many things.

~♡♡~

“Eliseva, did you call for me?” She asked, standing on the door of her room. The door was open so she questioned Eliseeva from a distance. She used to keep a distance from Eliseva for not calling any punishment on her side.

Eliseva’s jaw clenched, hearing her full name through Hazel. Eliseva asked everyone to use her nickname but there was only one Hazel who used her full name. She had no intention of impressing Eliseva at all.

The women here consider Eliseva to be God because she used to give bread, clothes and shelter to the illiterate and orphan girls. But in return she earns money from their body. What is in it like a god? God never earns money through his people. And if we talk about bread, cloth and house, then it is only God’s gift. Who is the person to give all this?

“Hazel, pride of my mansion! I am pleased to see you. Good morning, how did you sleep, huh?”

Honey was dripping from her tongue but alas, the honey was mixed with sugar. Something fake and indigestible.

“Come here, we’ve got a big deal and I want to go there and take care of my customers, as we know how beautiful you are…” she threw a fake smile in her direction. Like always!

“Right, Rabiya?” She looked to her right and Hazel silently followed her gaze, only to find Rabiya sitting on one of the chairs in the room and smirking at her. She always smirked whenever she looked at Hazel because for her, Hazel was naive and probably an innocent lamb who could be anyone’s sacrifice.

“Of course, Eli!” She chirped, grinning at Hazel.

“Come here,” Eliseva callee Hazel curtly. Suddenly that soft look flew away. Hazel nodded and entered her room which was delighted with warm lights.

She stood in front of Eliseva but surprisingly, Rabiya grabbed her shoulders and pulled her on a chair, earning a gasp from Hazel. That was unexpected! She thought Rabiya was pushing on the ground.

Rabiya smirked, seeing Hazel. She loved annoying her.

“Listen to me now carefully Hazel, the guests are really important to me. He’s one of the most successful lawyers in America. People lick his feet for his support. If he gets impressed by you, then we can get some of his support. The man is a really nice man but dominating. He holds right and wrong in his almighty hands so be careful around him!”

Hazel frowned, “Am I the only one going?” was the first question that itched her mind.

“No way! I can never believe you. What if you run away? That’s why Isabella, Aalya, Zoya, Mishal, Rukaiya, Sophia and Rabiya, all are going with you. All are new to him.”

“So what’s the point of sending me with all of them? I’m not a good seductress like Rabiya…” She sighed, her voice turning heavier when she remembered Eliseva insulting her because of being religious all the time. She continued nonetheless, “who can fascinate him. You yourself say that I’m of no use to you.”

Eliseva huffed, grabbing her hips. She raised her eyes at Rabiya behind her. Her brows corrugated in defeat but Hazel knew the lady was showing only a fake sadness. Hazel was well aware of her sharp mind and reasoning.

“What’s your age, Hazel?” Rabiya inquired from behind.

“Seventeen,” she answered in a low voice.

“Exactly! Younger than you have no experience now. You are the youngest among us. I don’t want to say but you’re the most beautiful also and your dance is really graceful which’s useless, that’s why Eli wants to send you!”

And now the realization hit Hazel. Eliseva was sending her to those men there not to entertain them with her graceful belly dance but to satisfy them with her untouched body.

“Hi.” An excited chirp met her ears, grabbing her attention. She turned to look at the person, finding it a beautiful lady. Her face was attractive, her features sharp. Her appearance matched a bit with… Christian, but the eye color kept them apart. His eyes were a pair of burning volcanic flames, while the girl had a pair of hazel eyes — wood color mixed with leaf flecks. She was longer than her and seemed as high as Gabriella. Her body was curvy, hidden behind a pink chiffon saree. She was glad the hall had heaters around otherwise the man with her had put a huge jacket on her shoulders, ruining her fashion. Her plump lips were stretched into a beautiful smile, which made her smile as well.“Hi.” Giving her a hand which she accepted wholeheartedly to shake it.“I’m Abigail, Chris’ elder sister and you must be Hazel, right?” She guessed it, showing her pearly white teeth. Hazel nodded slowly and hesitantly, afraid that she was like Gabriella. “Gabriella told me. Actually catching

“Really?” Hazel looked at Rebecca, who looked surprised and confused as well. Her brows were knitted together and she was listening to the person who was speaking to her from the other side. “I can’t believe it. Anyway, I’ll be there.” She went silent again. Her eyes stopped upon Hazel and she nodded. “Hm, I understand. Bitches remain bitches after all. But it’s okay, Mr. Da’ud was kind enough to invite us on his own. We can expect respect from respected people, after all.” She giggled at the end and then disconnected the line. She put the mobile on the table and sat on a chair. She turned to Hazel and then started speaking though she never looked eager to know about her conversation. “Dear, Marcus and I are invited to a party. Must reach by 7 pm. I don’t think that Sir will also come home tonight, so maybe you…” She trailed off, giving Hazel a hint but just at that moment, the doorbell rang. “Lemme check it, you shouldn’t get up again and again.” Hazel got up, interrupting Rebecc

Eyes held a slight drop of worry when she peered down at him. His lips connected to hers and sucking them like he yearned them from the depth of his heart, dryness of his throat, and emptiness of his hunger. Her heart skipped a beat and then thudded loudly inside her chest. So loud that she could hear her heart beating in her ears and she was sure the soft sound must have reached his ears, too, as he sucked her bottom lip zealously, taking it between his teeth and then opening his eyes ever so slowly that the time seemed to freeze around her — around both of them. His intoxicating eyes, covered with those dark eyelashes, hypnotized her to the core — to the point where she knew she would give herself to him any time because the magic of his sweet presence had started to work tremendously, not ready to stop after that. Staring deep into her big beautiful eyes, he slightly leaned back and licked her bottom lip. His palm grazed her cheek lovingly and warmth spread throughout her chest

Sitting on his comfortable chair, while he was doing his work as diligently as ever, his mobile beeped with the notification bell. He ignored it as usual but after that, it started vibrating continuously, leaving him annoyed. The habit of constantly texting after being ignored by him was only used to be found in Gabriella. He leaned forward to reach the gadget and find a message from the person he expected. It was a picture of which the decoration of the chosen venue she wanted to show him, with a text message in which she asked him about the flowers that needed to be changed if he wanted them to be. The picture was already downloaded so he could see there were white lilies with which the place was decorated. White, the color that always suited a without-a-halo-wingless-angel he knew — Hazel. And the flower lilies were the flowers he used last night for the girl he admired from the bottom of his heart — Hazel. Once again everything seemed to make him think about her. And now when

Eyes opened and his face was the first thing she saw before starting the day. The proximity did not seem to trouble her this time because it felt like she expected it as soon as she would open her eyes. She did not feel scared when she saw him. Rather than not knowing why looking at him so closely, it seemed as if she was trying to understand some mystery — which was his face. Many questions were in her mind. Especially related to last night. She was also surprised to see the concern in his eyes for herself and also a small joy in the corner of her heart because, for the first time, someone made her feel valued; like someone had respected her emotions, her tears, her sorrow and everything that surrounded her like her own distinct atmosphere. She was surprised to find such a sudden change in him. He never looked so bothered for her. She did not even realize that while looking at him, her time was passing like running water. The peace on his face was totally different but it was suit

“Haze! Slow down!” The beautiful woman yelled from behind, eyes widening as she saw the little girl running away, spilling the chirpy gigglings around which lit up the environment. “Not a kid, I’m not, ma!” She answered, reaching the flower bed and crouching down. “Is that so?” She laughed, approaching the girl and sitting next to her, following her gaze as she found a butterfly sitting on a daisy. The girl seemed lost in admiring the green delicate creature. Her big hazel eyes gleamed and her chubby lips parted. She rested her small palms on her knees and her hand raised carefully, fingers itching to touch its flimsy wings. “No, Haze, you shouldn’t catch a butterfly!” She held her small hand, grabbing her attention. As soon as the little girl faced the young, seductively pretty lady, her braid dangled from the right side which scared the butterfly as she flew away, leaving the kid disappointed. “Hey! Don’t run!” She complained, getting up, and raising her hands toward the sky.

“Rebecca,” His soft, low voice in worry fell in her ears. Looking back, she looked at Christian with her sad eyes, but he was only looking at the way down in front of him from where Hazel had disappeared to her room side. There was a deep inner concern in his voice and restlessness hidden in the dreary sadness in his eyes. Perhaps he had realized that he should not have shouted at Hazel like that. Undoubtedly, she was not a little girl who would spoil her health by playing in the rain, but he had not seen a wiser girl than her till today. Surely she must have a reason, seeing her, her sadness could be felt by him but he was unable to detect it because of his anger. Had he not been angry, Hazel would not have run away like this. He wished he did not gotten angry, he slowly started to regret but it was late. There was no point in repenting now. The way she was scared in front of him because of his screaming, it was clear that he could not stop himself. He sighed, asking, “Did she tel

The next morning it was getting difficult for her to open her eyes. There was not even the slightest wish to open her eyes because she wanted to sleep like this for some more time. She just wanted to spend a little more time like this. Keeping her eyes closed and taking slow breaths, she wanted to hide forever in this warmth. It was pleasing, it felt good. This warmth seemed heavenly to her. Someone was holding her waist tightly as if he was afraid to let her go even a little away from him. She would be surprised if she would actually be in someone’s arms. It was all a sweet dream which was never going to be fulfilled like her other sweet dreams. Such dreams in which she wanted someone who would take her away from this world and its bad people, then live with her alone and love her a lot. A desirable amount of love she deserved. So now was really the time to break this dream of hers. Even though her eyes wanted to remain closed for a few more moments, she slowly opened them.Half
