CHAPTER 2

Reminder

(Amber POV)

"Amber, how's your Uncle's cooking? He prepared that for you." Mom asked smiling.

We were at the dining table with Uncle Van, Harry, and Mom. Only Vaz is not here.

Vaz doesn't want us to be here. It's obvious.

I swallowed what I was chewing before answering mom.

"It's super delicious mom. Thank you so much for the food Uncle." I smiled.

The food is good. The taste of a father's cooking is good.

"How about this place Amber, your room? How's your sleep? Maybe you want to add or remove something." Harry asked with a smile.

"This place is lovely. My room is super comfortable. So I had a good night's sleep." I answered staring at the wall clock.

7 am. Class at 8:30, so I still have time.

"That's good. It would have been okay if Vaz and I had eaten together." Harry said.

Yeah, but he seems that he doesn't like our presence, or he is not used to eating with strangers.

"Leave your brother alone, Harry. Maybe it's just that he does not usee with us having girls at the  table." Said Uncle Van.

I looked at mom. She was happy and her face cleared. Mom's aura has changed. She seems to like this place, she loves Uncle Van, and he also seems to love her.

Isn't it too early to say? Before that maybe they were so kind, maybe when it took a while they suddenly changed their behavior.

"Mom, Uncle, I need to come to school, so I can't help you clean up." I smile as saying goodbye.

"Don't worry dear, our maids can handle this. Maybe you'll go to be late." Uncle replied.

"Thank you for the delicious food," I said and stood up.

"Thank you too, Amber," Uncle said, Mom, all smiled.

"Get ready, and our driver will drive you," Uncle said.

"Thank you Uncle." I smiled and stepped forward.

"I'll drive her to her school dad," Harry said and stood up.

"No, no, thanks Harry. My school is farther from yours." I insisted.

"It's fine. My class is at 10 am. Let's go." Harry said pulling me up the stairs.

I just smiled.

"I'll just get something in my," Harry said coming to the front of my room.

"All right, I'll just take my stuff too," I said heading to my room and enter to get my bag.

I was about to pick up my bag when there was a knock on the door.

"It's me, Vaz. May I come in?" Vaz said outside.

Vaz? What does he need?

I immediately opened the door and the very tall Vaz was exposed to me and his hair was still wet looks fresh.

Slowly his light brown eyes watched me, his gaze dropped to my body before returning to my face. For once in my life, I don't care if I look good or not, now I just seem to shrink because of what he thinks about my looks. My white uniform was a bit tight, so I knew the shape of my breasts, and the curve of my body exposed.

I was in a hurry to leave so that he could not meet me, but he entered my room so suddenly.

I actu Vaz's face.

I know it's weird to be attracted to him because I have a boyfriend, but my heart beats every time I hear his voice or every time I feel his presence.

Or maybe it's really like that when you know you're being ignored and don't want to be with, you feel challenged.

But a different man, unlike his father and brother. He looks like a man who is cold and looks arrogant.

I heard he has a girlfriend. Maybe she's  gorgeous

"I need to come in school. Ito going to be late. Do you need anything?" I asked step back a little.

He just stared at me.

"Do you need anything?" I asked again. I'm in a hurry and I might be late.

I was surprised when he pushed me into my bed, locked the door and faced me.

I backed away as he stepped closer.

"What is it you want." I was afraid of his stares.

I was surprised when he grabbed me and I closed my eyes when he pressed me against the wall.

"Why did you come here!" He asked stiffly.

Isn't it obvious?

"I'm here for my mom!" I answered trembling.

"Liar!" His grip on my shoulders tightened even more and the closeness of his face to mine feels suffocating. I don't know how I will feel if I'll be amazed at his handsomeness or afraid of him being arrogant!

I could feel his hot breath on my face.

"If you do something wrong, I'll shout!" I threatened him.

He just looked at me.

"I'm serious! Let me go!" I stammered.

I could not read what I saw in his eyes, whether judgment, contempt or amazement.

It's like I want to cry!

He gasped when my phone rang.

"Be careful on Harry! Don't trust him." Vaz whispered before releasing me and stepping out of my room.

I gasped for breath. I was nervous because of him!

Me? Be careful on Harry? Harry was far kinder than him. He's even scarier! But why did he say that? Is it a warning? But why?

I'm confused.

I looked at my phone.

It's been ringing for a while.

= Rhyz Calling =

My boyfriend is calling.

"Hello Rhyz?" I answered his call.

I even hugged myself because I was still trembling with fear because of Vaz.

"Are you at school yet?" asked Rhyz.

"I'm on my way, why?" I asked.

"Ah that's right, I'm here at your house to pick you up, but there's no one, the gate and door are chained. Have you moved? Where?" Rhyz stammered one after another.

"Long explanation, I'll just tell you at school." I said. I forgot to tell him that we had moved to my stepfather's house.

"Okay, okay see you then."

"See you."

"Take care. I'll wait for you here."

"You too Rhyz. Bye"

"Bye."

I turned off the phone and put it in my bag.

I loaded my bag and left the room.

I need Rhyz and Paige now. Furthermore, I need someone to talk to. Is this the right family we entered?

I left the room.

"Shall we go?" Harry asked from the side of the door.

Damn, my heart seemed to jump in panic!

I looked at him.

Why did Vaz say I would be careful and not trust his brother? Harry looks harmless. I think Vaz is crazy.  TSS.

I just took a deep breath and went down the stairs. Harry was behind me.

After saying goodbye to our parents, I boarded on Harry's car because he said he would take me to school.

Vaz was also in the garage with something stuck to his car.

He didn't even look at us until we left.

On the way to my school Harry was quiet and when I looked at him, he was smiling.

I was confused when Vaz told me to be careful with Harry. Annoying! But Harry looks weird.

We even passed Crown University where Harry and Vaz were studying.

Their school is closer to their home than my Williams University school.

(Minutes later)

"I'll take you home later. I'll pick you up after class. Wait for me." Harry said, as I got out of his car.

I'm about to answer, but he drives his car fast leaving.

Argh what is that? Weird!

I looked at the students who had been looking at me before.

I went straight inside the school building, went up to my room just bent over.

8 am. I still have half an hour.

My phone rang.

"I'm on the rooftop, baby." Message from Rhyz.

I just shook my head and took the elevator to the rooftop.

Arriving there I immediately saw Rhyz standing looking down.

"Hi." I wave at him.

"Ow hi baby, you are here. I have something for you." He said lifting a cute bottle.

Rhyz's face was beautiful because the sun was shining reflecting his cheeks. Pretty long straight black hair. Sharp pointed nose, thin but shaped lips.

"Here baby, sweetened squash. You'll love this one. It's healthy and delicious. Try it." He said open the small bottle with dessert.

"Here, try it." He said giving me a bite.

"How was it? Taste good right?" He smiles.

I just nodded. I looked at the bottle. There is a name on it.

From: Sophie.

To: Rhyz.

I know it, it was from one of his admirer. All the gifts from his admirer always go to me. He gives it to me.

When I'm with Rhyz I feel light and comfortable. I think we really are maybe for each other

"Are you alright? You look distracted!" He asked with his face close to mine, so my face got hot.

"Are you okay? You're so red." He asked again caressing my head.

"Stop patting my head." I said holding back his hand messing up my hair.

"Ow you're such a teasable girl my Amber." He said holding my shoulders.

I immediately remembered Vaz's face! Damn! I shook my head to erase Vaz face.

"Yeah I am." I hid my red cheek.

"Let's kiss." Rhyz suddenly stuttered so I backed away.

"WHAT !? I don't want to!" I said shock.

"You don't have to be shy. I'm your boyfriend and kissing is really what in a relationship does." Said Rhyz.

"We've already talked about this." I pushed him.

Rhyz sighed and walked away from me.

The bell rang.

We just quietly went to our room.

I'm sorry, but I'm not really ready for that yet, Rhyz.

<Fast Forward>

The class ended quickly and I'm on my way home.

Rhyz seems to be upset because I not let him kiss me. Paige was absent so no one to talk to. Boring.

I went to the parking lot, I remembered as Harry would pick me up. Maybe he was already there.

When I come to parking there is chaos going on.

I peeked in and saw who they were messing with.

A man leaning against his car and still wearing another school uniform. Crown University school uniform.

He looks like a superstar in trouble.

HMP.

I ignored all the shouting and headed to the parking.

I was surprised when the man turned around, and I realized …

Vaz?

Vaz, is still wering the C.U. uniform. And in the parking lot of W.U.

What is Vaz doing here ?! Where's Harry?
