Happy Birthday
(Amber POV)
9 am.
I just sat on the sofa watching Vaz fix his suit. He'll enter the office for other branching and the paperwork he is handling.
Today Oct 12 XXXX is Vaz's birthday.
But he still doesn't tell me what he's going to do now. It's embarrassing to talk to him. I'm so embarrassed when it came to Vaz and I was very shy. Tsk whatever.
I swallowed three times first and took a deep breath before speaking.
"Vaz, is there something you want to do for your birthday?" I asked him and arranged for him to sit down.
"Ahh hmp, no need to fuss about it Amby. I used to not celebrate my birthday since I lost Mom," he replied turning to me.
"That's not right, we should have prepared for now. By the way, I have a gift for you," I said grabbing an envelope under the table but I was still reluctant to give it to him. This gift is so lame. I know it!
